From the barn, the witness saw a tall black upright figure on the far crest of a field that stepped left, paused, then moved out of sight within about 15 seconds. The legs were not visible and no binoculars were available, but the witness said it moved like a person and was none of the common local animals.

The figure had long wavy hair, broad shoulders, and debris in the hair on its backside. It stepped once to the guardrail, crossed over it, and disappeared from view.

The witness was riding as a passenger while a relative drove home late at night in fog and light snow. Near the top of a hill, a tall dark figure with swinging arms crossed the road in a few fast steps in front of their vehicle and disappeared over the hill. Days later relatives returned and reported large footprints and photos.

The witness was driving westbound with three family members and slowed near a bike-trail crossing. They all saw a large black figure standing on the trail at a distance, facing the river and appearing to have come from the woods. The husband saw an arm, they heard knocks, a whoop and running, and later found a large bare footprint in a creek bank and an impression behind a tree.

A short distance farther they found a small tree freshly broken in half and bent down, which they found odd given its proximity to the print.

After hearing something large move away through the woods, the witness noticed a single large footprint on the hard trail surface and photographed it. A couple staying overnight on the screened porch of a wooded cabin report two nights of disturbance in June 2017. The witness reported being awakened at home by loud vocalizations and sounds of objects hitting the house, with farm and domestic animals reacting. He said he pursued to high ground and aimed through his rifle scope, but branches fell near him and loud movement approached from both sides, prompting him to retreat and later fire toward the hollow. A single track was reported in the creek bottom the next day, but erosion had removed detail.

A game camera captured a close-up image of long reddish-brown hair directly in front of the lens with no body visible. The property owners then found a series of four large barefoot tracks with visible toes coming from the woods past the same camera. A family of four driving through Geneva State Park in daylight stopped after noticing a large dark bipedal figure moving through snowy woods. The figure was watched briefly for about ten seconds before disappearing. Shortly after from a nearby parking lot the adults made whoop calls and heard replies described as whoops, a scream or growl, and wood knocks, while also noticing a strong unpleasant odor.
