The witness found all chickens missing from the coop, which was covered in feathers but had no bodies or blood. While searching the property near the creek, the witness discovered a very large footprint and photographed and measured it. An investigator later found additional prints in the same area.

The first night included talk-like and giggling sounds followed by an hour of limbs breaking all around them. The next morning they found widespread broken limbs and a snapped tree but no footprints, and did not return.

He said he pursued to high ground and aimed through his rifle scope, but branches fell near him and loud movement approached from both sides, prompting him to retreat and later fire toward the hollow. A single track was reported in the creek bottom the next day, but erosion had removed detail.

The witness was making coffee at about 3 a.m. when she saw widely spaced large yellow eyes looking through a window, with a dark width blocking the outside light and shifting side to side. She backed away and waited in the dark until daylight while a rank skunk-like odor entered the house. After daylight, she and a relative found a strong odor in the yard, vegetation matted and crushed under the window, and squirrel corn missing.

Late at night the witness heard a very large bipedal animal moving through snowy woods to the woodline, breaking branches and small trees, but could see nothing despite moonlight. After listening with his wife from an upstairs window, he searched in the morning and reported large humanlike tracks, a crushed fence, and a dismembered deer with legs stacked by a sitting impression. While photographing the scene, he says a thrown stick struck his head, prompting him to run to the house.

The witness reports inspecting the yard on May 26, 2002 after being told about footprints about two weeks earlier, finding multiple sets of large footprints following a muddy ravine through the front yard. The witness and his wife returned in late January to a rock grotto where he had earlier found a possible bedding area. They found the bed intact but an old wagon moved from a ledge with drag marks in the rock. As they hiked out through a ravine, unseen actors on both ridges followed them for about an hour with knocks, whistles and other vocalizations, shaking and snapping saplings and throwing rocks until the pair reached the woods edge. Neither reported seeing anything.

About two weeks after the woods incident, the witness's mother and a cousin were in the mobile home late at night watching television. Something struck the top rear of the home with great force, denting the siding and shifting the structure. The witness later saw the dent himself when visiting years later.
