While leaving across the bridge they heard prolonged crying/calling vocalizations that continued to the trailhead. The witness later concluded the sounds matched Bigfoot recordings found online.

The witness was walking along a rural road past a marsh at dawn when noises like birds rustling came from the reeds. A light-brown creature that had been crouched in the reeds stood up and ran uphill toward the woods, pushing brush aside with its arms. The witness observed it for less than a minute, noting great height, broad shoulders, a coconut-shaped head, and very fast movement.

The witness and a companion were on an overnight camping trip in a state forest. Around 2 AM the witness was half-awake in cold conditions when a loud distant noise was heard. The witness noted the time to locate the sound on an all-night audio recorder and later felt the recording sounded like a very loud distant wood knock from a large source.

The witness and his father visited the Kendall Lake entrance late at night and made whoop and howl calls while recording. A group of five hiked an old closed ridge road around midnight under moonlight. After the leader produced knocks, responsive knocking came from timber about 50 feet away where a shadowy figure was seen, and the leader exchanged sounds with it. As the group hiked back to their cars they were flanked with glowing eyes, vocalizations and rustling.

On later playback something intelligent seemed to tinker with jingle bells strung on fishing line around the perimeter. The witness felt uneasy, watched, and unwilling to leave camp.

At dusk on the first night at the research camp, the witness heard a distant roar or yell with the unaided ear. A short time later a second vocalization was captured on the recording equipment. When cleaned up later it sounded non-human with a very deep ending and did not match known animals.

In 2014 the researcher visited a ravine near a small town on 21 mornings and exchanged knocks with an unseen individual across trees. Pine cones were tossed from the woods and one struck the researcher on the head.

The investigator and several companions were walking a grass road at night and made a loud call. A long drawn-out answer came from dense woods that sounded like a flawed coyote imitation. Owls called nearby and the group felt the source paralleled them.

In winter around November the witness camped about three-quarters of a mile from a parabolic recorder aimed west toward a structure or trail area. The witness did not hear anything at camp, but the parabolic captured long-distance screams. A very similar scream was recorded again on another fall or winter occasion.

Two cousins were gold panning and exploring a forested ridge road when one spotted a large hair-covered biped across the valley in a clearing. They watched for at least 20 minutes as it sat upright on a log, stood, looked toward them, turned side to side, took steps, and held an object in one hand. Both describe themselves as experienced hunters and state it was not a bear.

The witness and two companions camped in the Mt Hood National Forest with a barrel of animal entrails intended as bait. Over three days they reported loud screams from a nearby ridge, nighttime wood knocks, heavy steps and snapping twigs, and found their camp table apparently bitten through. They moved the bait pile away from camp, later found most of it missing with a wet sweet dog-like odor at the site.

The guest and his wife joined other researchers for an overnight investigation of a private property where the owner reported pounding and odd signs. After finding large footprints and noticing fresh fallen trees and a strong odor during an ATV ride, the group heard bipedal steps near base camp late at night. The guest watched a large upright figure sway between trees through night vision, saw it reappear squatting, then lose it as it moved over a ridge. The next morning the team found trampled vegetation where the figure had stood and noted they had audio of the event.

Two people exploring logging roads by jeep stopped to scout a side road on foot. They heard knocking sounds like a stick hitting a tree, then a very loud prolonged cracking like a thick log breaking nearby. They left without seeing any people or vehicles that could explain the noises. A photo taken toward the sounds was later thought to contain something odd but was deemed inconclusive.
