The witness drove into a logging job and pulled up a spur road to get out of truck traffic and relieve himself. Sunlight briefly broke through and lit what he thought was a stump, which he then realized was a hair-covered figure squatting to hide. The figure stood and left quickly up the ridgeline while the witness ran back to his rig and kept the event to himself for years.
