Sighting in Deep Creek Wilderness, near Lake Arrrowhead
In summer 2009 near Deep Creek by Lake Arrowhead, California, the witness reported seeing a very tall figure standing on a large boulder about a mile away. Companions with the witness also saw it but thought it was a person, and the witness remained unsure what was seen. A photo was taken from a great distance but was too blurry to show detail or scale.

Young lady on horse back outside Hesperia has a face to face encounter one late afternoon
A young woman riding a horse home through a dry riverbed in the late afternoon encountered a hairy biped near trees. Her horse refused to go forward, and she saw the creature standing and walking parallel about 75 to 100 yards away. They looked at each other for just under a minute before it turned and left into dense brush walking then crouching.
