A couple hiking to a cabin at Government Meadows surprised three large hairy bipeds behind the cabin. The subjects moved quickly from right to left, with a smaller adult carrying a juvenile on its back, then disappeared behind terrain. The witnesses approached the area, found a large print, and recorded video of their reaction afterward.

Four friends camped overnight near a river. After a distant yelp, a companion reported seeing a large shape by the river that could not be made out in the dark. Later the two awake witnesses heard a loud knock on a tree near camp and then bipedal footsteps circling the tent, including contact brushing the tent, before the sounds moved away. A daylight check found no tracks.

Four adults spent the day trap shooting at a dead-end road near a washed-out bridge. During a lunch break they noticed a tall dark stump-like shape about 25-30 yards into the forest and watched it remain motionless for 30-45 minutes. When they later looked again the shape was gone, leaving no matching stump. They concluded the object may have been a sasquatch calmly observing them despite hours of shotgun noise.

A forest trail worker leveling shale heard rocks clacking nearby and shouted and threw a stone while backing toward a vehicle. The witness then saw a dark brown leg and face of a creature leaning under a fir limb about 20 feet away. The witness left to get crew members, who returned but saw nothing and all left the area because they felt spooked.

While camping alone in a tent on a hunting trip, the witness heard unidentified calls over about an hour and later was awakened by movement and shaking of the tent. The witness noticed the tent had been lifted and saw a shadow pass by, then illuminated a large dark human-like figure about 20 yards away that turned and ran into the brush. The witness kept lights on until sunrise and packed up and left the next morning.
Teenage girl and her younger sister chased out of the woods near Greenwater
During a daytime rock-hunting outing, the witness and her younger sister walked down a trail past a creek. Something charged toward them from a wooded hill, crashing through vegetation while emitting a terrifying howl/growl, and the witness glimpsed a black figure. Both girls fled back to their group in tears and left the area immediately.

The witness was walking two dogs on a trail when one dog alerted toward bushes. The witness then saw a large dark figure standing by a tree about 40 feet away, later observed walking upright with bare lower legs and no visible clothing. The witness retreated to a truck with the dogs and the figure was gone.

Two people camping near a ravine heard rhythmic steps and saw a pair of large, long black-haired legs walking across the slope about 30 yards away. The companion moved closer but dense trees prevented a view of the full figure. After relocating their tent near other campers, both were awakened around 3 a.m. by heavy pounding nearby followed by three high shrill screams.

After midnight while driving west toward Elbe, the witness saw a large hairy figure cross the highway ahead and enter fir trees. As the car closed the distance, the figure stepped onto the grass and pushed a fir bough from its face, showing a gorilla-like ear. The witness braked and turned toward the trees but the car stalled and the adult passenger became upset, so the witness left and returned the next day to look for sign.

The witness and a companion were walking home from school along an overgrown logging road when the witness stopped while the companion kept walking. The witness sensed someone behind, turned, and saw a red-haired, broad-chested figure standing in a ditch a few feet away. The witness ran past the companion and both ran home without being chased.

Four witnesses walking upstream along a creek heard rustling that kept pace with them from across the water. They then saw a hair-covered face peering at them through bushes a short distance away, which appeared two more times as they continued. Frightened by being followed and by the creek ending in a swamp ahead, they ran back to camp and later told their parents.

The witness, then working at a gun club picking up clay targets, came through tall brush into a clearing and saw a large hairy figure standing behind a tree about 60 feet away. They stared at each other for nearly a minute before the witness heard children approaching behind him, turned to warn his partner to move the kids away, and lost sight of the figure.

Two occupants driving south to a fishing spot at dawn noticed an ape-like animal crouched beside garbage bags on the roadside. From about 22-25 feet they watched it lean forward and twice extend an arm to drop trash, noting black hair, facial features and long arms. They estimated its standing height at five-and-a-half to six feet and concluded it was a juvenile Bigfoot. The companion also reportedly saw an adult watching from the forest behind.
