The witness and a companion stopped on a bridge over the river while waiting for a restaurant to open. They noticed a large dark hairy figure standing in shallow river water at a distance. They watched for several minutes before driving on, and the figure was gone when they returned later that afternoon.
Night time road crossing sighting four miles south of Weatherford
The witness was driving south on Tin Top Road at night when he saw movement approaching the road. A bipedal figure about 100 feet away stumbled into the roadway, paused briefly, then ran at high speed into an overgrown field. The witness estimated the encounter lasted about five seconds before he continued home.
