Two loggers arriving before daylight found fresh large tracks in snow at a landing and followed them briefly. Later while working the witness felt watched, heard a stick-banging sound on a tree that he could not locate, and noticed deer had left the area. The boss believed the tracks were sasquatch, and the witness came to believe a bigfoot was watching them.
Campers hear multiple vocalizations at Loup Loup Campground
A couple camping at a campground in the north-central Washington Cascades heard loud, powerful calls beginning shortly before dusk and continuing through the night. The sounds were described as unfamiliar, alternating between deep guttural tones and high-pitched tones, and seeming to come from two sources that moved toward each other along a creek drainage. The witnesses spent the night in their car and left at dawn without searching the brush for tracks.

Overnight at a cabin, the wife noticed a strong odor, heard a metallic bang on the back porch and crunching footsteps moving toward the driveway. She woke her husband, who went outside with a flashlight and found a strong smell and large man-like footprints where frozen food stored under a wash tub had been disturbed. Investigators visited a week later, examined remaining tracks, took photographs and measurements, and collected hair.

In July 1977 the witness was helping a relative fix fence on a hill behind the ranch around noon. He and the relative saw two tall pine trees sway inside the fence line and then heard a loud yelling uhhing sound. From about 100-150 yards to the right, the witness heard several loud impacts described as long dry posts striking tree stumps. No loggers or campers were known to be in the area, and the witness found the sounds unlike anything previously heard in the woods.
