Afternoon sighting while hiking at Mahlon Dickerson Reservation

While camping with two relatives, the witness hiked off-trail and circled back toward the campsite road. Looking back toward an upper trailhead, the witness saw a tall, bulky black figure walking from right to left and quickly out of sight. The witness then moved forward to the spot with the relatives and later compared the figure's size to a relative, estimating it much taller and wider.
