Possible bigfoot footprints and whoops in Kootenai NF at Weasel Cabin 15 NE of Eureka (MT)
Two campers at a cabin campsite found a toe-bearing footprint near a creek and noticed broken branches on a nearby trail. That evening something struck the cabin with a loud impact, and later while sitting at the campfire they heard repeated whoops for several minutes followed by deep rumbling calls. After ruling out known animals, they concluded the sounds were two Sasquatch communicating.
Growl near Dellrose, Tennessee (2023)
Late at night the witness was gaming at home when she heard a deep growl that grew louder and shifted into a loud distressed bellowing outside her office window. She looked toward the window and saw a pair of yellow-green luminous eyes watching her for a few seconds before they turned and moved away. She initially thought the eyes might be human but concluded they were not, and the next day found no tracks beneath the window.
Vocalization near Fayetteville / Coldwater, Tennessee (2017)
Around 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 25, 2017, the witness and a companion were driving in a loud diesel truck toward a deer blind. They heard several very loud wooo sounds from woods estimated at 200 to 250 yards away, audible over the engine. They stopped briefly to listen, then drove on and shined lights into the woods without seeing or hearing anything further.
Howl near Taft, Tennessee (2015)
The witness and a companion parked to take a daytime walk near a river bridge. After the witness struck a tree with a stick, they twice heard very loud vocalizations estimated to be about fifty yards away. After returning to the car they then heard very loud knocking sounds before driving off. The report states this was not a visual incident.
Late night encounter at a farm near Crab Orchard
The witness and a companion parked in a neighbor's driveway at night while the companion went to check a nearby farm gate. The witness reported a strange smell and a growl-like noise from in front of the car, then turned on the headlights and saw a large long-haired figure with large eyes leaning on a gravel pile. They left the area, with the companion later saying something large ran toward the road.

In fall 2008 the witness was driving a pickup slowly along a dirt road beside a creek toward a one-lane low-water bridge in the evening. Beside the bridge he saw a large shaggy figure he first took for a bear, which stood upright as he approached and watched him pass within a few feet. He described it as about eight feet tall with long arms, no visible neck, and a hairless human-like face. The figure then stepped into deep water, crossed the creek, and climbed the far bank holding trees, and was gone when the witness returned after dark.

Late at night while driving home over a river bridge with the convertible top down, the witness saw a large brown-haired being bent over in the lane apparently picking something up. As she slowed and moved to the other lane to pass, the being froze motionless and she was hit by an overpowering foul odor. She then accelerated home to tell her husband. The encounter happened around midnight about a quarter mile from her home.
Fisherman stalked at dawn near Ruidoso
The witness had been camping and fishing for several days and went upstream alone at first light. After feeling watched and noticing the woods go quiet, the witness saw brush and trees shaking but could not make out the source. Minutes later while heading back toward camp, the witness heard a guttural moan or cry from across the river and believed something followed downstream. The witness ran back to camp, injuring an ankle, and noted the behavior and sound differed from prior bear encounters.
Night time sighting of a white creature near Kelso
Late at night at a wooded residence, a child went outside to tend a car, heard strange vocalizations and saw a white figure, then ran inside. A young man then shone a flashlight toward the woods, saw a large white furry bipedal creature, fired a shot, and the creature stumbled then fled on two legs while others watched from the porch and trees were heard breaking.

The witness and a companion were resupplying a bear bait site on foot when they heard branches breaking upslope and saw a piece of tree fall. About 400 yards away on a ledge they saw a tall dark bipedal figure leaning against a broken tree. The witness watched it for 15-20 seconds before it stepped quickly into the treeline, and noticed a rancid odor near the bait site.
Hunter hears unusual vocalizations on two occassions
The witness camped overnight in the cab of his truck before deer hunting season. Around 4 a.m. he got outside and heard deep breathing nearby, then after getting back in the truck heard a high-pitched warbling yodel from the direction of the mountain. He saw nothing with a flashlight and stayed awake in the truck until dawn.
Rural commuter sees large animal shift from quadrupedal to bipedal movement
In early fall 2002 the witness was driving to work on a highway in the morning and saw a large dark-brown hairy animal crossing the road on a hill crest. The animal first moved on all fours, then rose onto its hind limbs, ran with long steps and leapt over an embankment and fence into the woods. The sighting lasted only a few seconds, and a later visit to the site revealed many game footprints.

The witness climbed to a densely wooded area behind a dry waterfall in Spring Canyon to get a view. They heard a grunting humming sound with foot stamping and loud bull-like breathing, followed by total silence. They moved to the waterfall's edge, waited with no further sounds, and chose not to enter the woods, later suggesting it might be a Bigfoot residence.
Hunter catches glimpse of biped on snowy road
The driver was traveling at night in light snow with a young child passenger when headlights revealed a large upright figure near the road. The figure moved downhill on two legs with long strides and a large upper body, which the driver felt differed from a bear. The driver stopped where the figure left the road and noticed smeared tracks in mud and snow leading downhill but did not follow them. The driver later said he believed the figure was likely a bigfoot.
Man recalls seeing a large creature while driving at night near Fayetteville
The witness, then 17, was driving home late at night on a rural road and noticed something on the roadside that was first mistaken for a deer or cow. As the car passed, the figure stood up from a hunched position, and after the witness stopped past it and reversed, it was seen walking into the road behind the car within about 25 to 30 yards. The witness described it as much larger than a person, about 6.5 to 7 feet tall and very wide, and frightened, drove away quickly toward the highway.

After a day of hiking, the witness and a companion were returning to their parked truck after dark in moonlight when they noticed movement around the vehicle. From about 40 feet away they saw three hair-covered upright figures, two larger and one smaller, which then ran away as the men ran to the truck and drove off. No vocalizations were heard, only the sound of contact with the truck and footsteps in grass as the figures fled.

The witness was walking home at dusk and paused at railroad tracks when noticing a tall hair-covered biped about 25 yards away looking into brush. The creature turned to look at the witness, who fled in fright across a busy highway. The witness recalls remaining terrified by the memory and being unsure what was seen.
Four climbers report repeated vocalizations
Five campers at a basecamp on Mt. Snowy late at night heard a long loud vocalization coming from a ridge behind camp. The sound began like a low growl and rose to a high howling scream, repeating several times over an extended period while seeming to move farther away. The men, experienced in the woods, said it did not match known animals, and a search the next morning found no sign.
Man remembers unknown screaming animal passing underneath his deer stand before dawn on Clark Hill Lake
On opening day of deer season in 1978 or 1979, the witness waited in a tree stand in darkness and dense fog near a lake. A loud screaming sound approached from uphill, passed beneath the stand with audible brush and leaf movement, and continued on. The witness could not see the source due to fog and darkness. A hunting companion in a different location also heard the sounds that morning.
