The witness was mowing and clearing a path behind the house in early October when they noticed movement in brush along a ravine. They stopped to watch a dark, long-haired upright figure walk away for about a minute without seeing its face. They returned the next day to find only disturbed brush and a game trail.

While digging out the tires, the witness was struck by a thrown rock, then heard movement, footsteps and loud hissing vocalizations from the surrounding brush. They reported seeing only from the mid-chest down, describing it as upright on thick muscular hind legs and stooped over. It left the roadway into woods behind a house, and the witnesses drove away without stopping. A later daytime check found nothing.

The witness drove to a seldom-crowded park with falls midday and sat on a picnic table. After about a minute, the witness turned and saw a furry figure about six feet away, visible from the waist up above a drop-off. Frozen in fear, the witness could not warn a passing group, then ran to the nearby car and has not returned to the park.

The witness and at least one other person parked on a dirt road near a stream at night. They heard sloshing in the water and later saw a large figure run across the road ahead of the headlights and heard heavy steps in sagebrush. Using a spotlight they glimpsed a tall dark primate-like figure cross in front of a large boulder and enter dense timber.

The witness was deer hunting from a familiar hillside stump in the late afternoon when the woods went silent and a strong rotting odor appeared. He watched a large black hairy biped walk effortlessly up a steep hill toward him, sniff the air and make eye contact for several seconds before walking away over the hill. After it left he heard a loud high-pitched scream in the distance, felt watched while leaving, and vomited once clear of the woods.
