Jefferson Head encounter by community service group
A group of teenage girls doing shoreline cleanup heard loud screaming from the woods and then saw a hair-covered biped emerge from a marsh onto the beach. The creature appeared startled, took cover behind driftwood, and watched them from a crouch for several minutes. The frightened group fled to their van and left the beach.
Bigfoot print in cement
The witness had a 12 by 24 foot cement pad poured for a new dog kennel and then was out of town for the weekend. Between Friday evening and Saturday late afternoon, something left a very large footprint in the middle of the wet cement, which then hardened permanently. The witness also found another possible print in dirt beside the pad about 10-12 feet away, photographed the cement print, and asked for help identifying what made it.
Fisherman spots a large upright creature digging on the shore
Very early one morning in 1991, the witness was fishing along the Hood Canal shore and saw an animal digging that was first taken for a bear. When it stood upright, looked at the witness, and walked quickly north into brush and trees on two legs, the witness concluded it was not a bear. The witness later found two clear five-toed footprints measuring 15-16 inches where it had been and photographed them with a shoe for scale.
