Motorists' sighting of a possible sasquatch along Interstate 64 outside Mt. Vernon
The witness was driving on an interstate at night with two companions when a large bipedal figure was seen walking along the treeline. The figure made eye contact, took a couple of steps toward the trees, looked back again, then continued into the woods. It was described as very tall, stocky, light tan in color, stooped, with red eyeshine.

The witness arrived at his mother's house late at night and his dog barked at the woods. He saw a human-like shadow and then came within feet of a huge grayish-black being. The creature stared at him, walked to the driveway, disappeared into shadows, and the dog returned.

The witness was picking brush for sale near an old skid road when he heard loud growls, squeals, and brush breaking. He climbed a side hill and saw a still dark bear draped over a vine maple, then noticed a very large dark-brown biped standing about 50 feet away with its back turned. The creature turned and stared with red glowing eyes, prompting the witness to flee to his truck screaming, after which he refused to return to the woods and his crew left the area.
Fishermen recount having large rocks thrown at them while fishing Steelhead on the Duckabush River
Three companions were night-fishing from a log on a river about 1 a.m. when large splashes and watermelon-sized rocks thrown from the opposite bank soaked them. In dim lantern light they saw two huge figures standing on a ledge across the uncrossable river, swaying, with glowing greenish eyes. They shouted at the figures, another rock was thrown near them downstream, and they fled on foot to their vehicle.
