Two hikers reported finding an unusual rock pile along a game trail while hiking. They said it was the first such formation they had encountered on a game trail. Another individual later visited the same piles and took photographs.

A man was kneeling on a rocky river sandbar working on his fishing gear when he heard a noise in nearby trees. He looked up and saw a very short hairy creature staring at him, which growled, prompting him to flee. He also noticed a picked-clean fish skeleton and plucked duck remains left on nearby rocks.

A student was deer hunting near Colton in 1973. As it was getting dark, the student heard what was described as BF scream three times and heard walking and breathing nearby. The account states the student never saw the source of the sounds.
Sandy Couple sees grinning (?!) Bigfoot
At a farm outside Sandy in the early 1980s, the witness reported seeing a Bigfoot-like creature about 200 feet from the house. The creature looked directly at the witness and appeared to grin before turning and walking away. The witness's parents had also heard strange sounds from the surrounding woods.
Thirdhand report of creature seen near truck by hunters
Two men doing pre-season scouting parked their truck on a ridge at sunset and stayed after dark. They heard footsteps pass alongside the truck and circle in front over gravel. With the headlights on they saw a large ape-like figure crouched ahead that then stood, prompting them to flee hastily and nearly back over an embankment.
