Oregon resident near Mt. Hood catches glimpse of a bigfoot in his neighborhood
Late at night the witness was inside the home when excitably barking dogs prompted a look out the window. A large, very hairy human-like figure was seen running upright across the road, backlit by an approaching car's headlights, and the car slowed near the crossing point. The witness then went outside to retrieve the dog, noticed a bad smell, and a later flashlight search found no footprints.
Fish Creek - Campers hear noises, smell 'skunky' smell
Two people backpacked in and camped for two nights along a closed road. During the second night, one camper heard sustained light movement in brush around camp after dark and woke to a strong skunk-like odor before dawn. After sunrise, that camper found two fresh and clear footprints in duff near camp measuring about 15 inches long. The camper interpreted the activity as the camp being cased.
Near Ripplebrook - red-haired creature runs across road
A forestry paint-crew driver backing his truck into a turnout reported seeing a red-haired biped cross the road in about a second and disappear downhill toward a wet area. Two students with him did not see the animal but reported feeling watched and urging to leave. Investigators visiting days later described large pad marks and indistinct imprints on game trails at the crossing.
Bigfoot "bed" and possible tracks in duff found
The witness reported finding a large mashed-vegetation bed with a trail of very large footprints leading to it and trees broken high up. An investigator later visited the site with the witness and observed that the tracks were in duff without toe detail and that one track location would be awkward for a biped. The investigator suggested the bed could be from a bear or elk and was not enthusiastic about the site as evidence.
Near Goat Mt., Clear Lake trail, man sees 2 creatures
A guard watching timber equipment reported many screams and calls near his trailer. He claimed to have seen two kinds of creatures, describing a shorter reddish-haired one with striking blue eyes and a larger aggressive one that stalked him. He also believed the creatures could imitate animal sounds.
near Estacada - Frank and Barbie Kaneaster sight white Bigfoot which leaves deformed tracks
Two men cutting firewood reportedly saw a white 7-foot-tall creature step to the edge of a logging road about 25 feet away, then turn and walk back into the forest with a pronounced limp. A woman watching from a truck about 300 feet away also saw it and alerted her husband, who arrived too late to see it. The husband later found and followed footprints in forest duff and made plaster casts of both feet, noting deformity of the right foot.
Men hear noises near bridge
Two visitors went to a campground and found a gunny sack that had been hung off the ground torn apart, with potatoes scattered on the ground. The account notes suspicion that someone had hung the items as bait.
Molalla River area - photographer smells a bad odor
The witness was out along a river road and stopped at a bridge when a rotten odor was noticed on the breeze. The source of the smell could not be localized. No tracks or other sign were found.
Copper Creek - Couple hears screams, sees weird lights
Three people were camped for the night in a truck at a gravel pit by a creek and road. Late at night they heard a loud scream from a canyon and later another closer scream, staying in the truck out of fear. Around 2 a.m. their tied dog became highly agitated and they heard two very close thuds described as like a limb breaking and hitting the ground.
Vocalizations at Molalla River from Copper Creek direction
On January 4th the subject reportedly heard loud whistles attributed to two unseen creatures, followed by very loud Yah-hoo sounds from close by. He was described as petrified by the experience. The sounds were then described as disappearing toward Copper Creek.
MRS - Bigfoot stares at campers
Two people were camping in the afternoon during heavy rain and warming themselves at a campfire. A reddish-brown, 6.5-foot-tall human-like creature stood next to a tree 50-70 feet away and stared at them for several minutes without moving. When one witness stood and approached, the creature turned and walked slowly away.
Wood-tapping, "whoop" heard
The witness was camped overnight at Squaw Meadows while working to clear barbed wire with a ranger. After tapping on wood to try to communicate, he reported receiving a very loud wooden rap in reply from the valley below.
White creature seen in sewage stream near Willamette (town)
The witness was near a sewage stream off the freeway at midnight under street lights. From 100-200 feet away the witness watched a large white hairy entity about seven feet tall with a dome-shaped head bob and move between locations while apparently looking toward the witness. A dog present only sniffed the air and no tracks were found.
Broken trees found at Table Rock Rd.
The witness was exploring off Table Rock Road east of the Molalla River. He found multiple young alder trees with fresh breaks about 8 to 10 feet high along the downhill side of the road. The broken ends were left dangling, which was judged inconsistent with winter snow damage.
SE of Estacada Suspicious odor report
Two family members cutting wood in the afternoon noticed a brief, potent odor carried on the wind that they thought might be Bigfoot. A third family member working nearby did not notice anything. Nothing was seen during the encounter.
Skookum Lake Campers see large black BF with glowing yellow eyes
The witness and two companions were camping at Skookum Lake when the witness heard branches breaking in the early morning hours. He shone a powerful flashlight toward the sound and saw a creature about 150 feet away on a slope. He watched it for about 45 minutes and called for his companions to come look.
MRS - Man sees Bigfoot in camp late at night, heard rock on rock tapping
The witness was camping overnight in a camper near a river with a companion. After being awakened at night, the witness looked out the camper window and saw a figure described as a Bigfoot in lantern light, but only its back was visible before it left. Later the same night the witness heard slow rock-on-rock taps followed about fifteen minutes later by faster taps from a different direction.
hunter charged by 7 1/2' BF after shooting a buck near Colton
A hunter reportedly shot a buck and was then charged by a 7.5-foot creature. The deer was later found mutilated and broken with the carcass covered with sticks. Broken trees and tracks were also reported at the site, which was later visited.
Bagby Hot Springs trail Footprints seen in deep snow
The witness and a companion were hiking to a hot springs in late November 1994. The witness noticed large barefoot tracks in the snow along the packed trail. The tracks ran mostly straight with a long stride, showing a clear large toe, faint smaller toes, and no claw marks, suggesting a single individual. She did not discuss the tracks with her companion at the time.
East of 211 near Colton Bigfoot sighted in area where hoaxes had occurred
A witness reported a very hairy black-brown creature crossing in front of them near Colton in the late morning. The creature reportedly stopped, turned to look at the witness, then went into the forest. The witness followed a short distance before becoming frightened and returning to the car.
