After meeting a farmer whose goats were being killed, the witness staked out a large fenced field from a hill. He watched a dark canine-like creature run strangely across the field, stand on two legs at the fence, step over it, and enter the woods. The next day he found canine-type tracks, a travel route around a bluff with bones, and a dug-out area under the bluff.

After hearing from a farming family about goats being killed and strange sounds, the witness examined a shed area, found long canine tracks unlike coyote, and spent weeks watching a large fenced field from a hill. One evening the witness watched a dark German-shepherd-faced biped run across the field, stand on two legs, step over a fence and enter woods, and the next day followed its path to a bluff with tracks, bones and a possible den. A wildlife officer later warned the witness away and the witness never saw the animal again.
