YESTERDAY (!!!): Bigfoot knocks (from multiple creatures) near Port Townsend
While walking alone in the afternoon the witness noticed a brief skunk-like odor and then heard repetitive knocking from the woods. The witness tapped a stick on trees in patterns and heard knocks returned in the same numbers, first from one direction and later from two directions. After a much louder wood-on-wood smashing sounded nearby and the other knocks stopped, the witness left the forest quickly without seeing the source.
Growl near Beaver, Washington (2024)
The witness was sleeping lightly in a tent on family property during a reunion camping trip after several nights of growls, whoops, and sounds of movement in the woods. About 1:46am something pressed the back of the tent against her back, grabbed her left arm through the fabric, and shook the tall air mattress violently while a bright white light shone on the tent. The shaking and light stopped, and she found the tent had been pushed 5 to 7 feet forward. She stayed awake, left the next morning, and later found fingerprint-like marks on her arm that were photographed.
Stalking by a large creature around family tents at midnight at Skookumchuck Reservoir
The witness was lying awake in a tent at a restricted lakeside camp around midnight when she heard slow, rhythmic footsteps circling the campsite for about 45 minutes. The walker paused near food areas, approached another tent when a child cried, and left after a car alarm sounded, stepping over a fence into the woods. She never opened the tent to look and concluded from the stride and sounds that it was not human.
Climber reports bigfoot-type knock sounds near summit of Hex Mtn, 10 miles NW of Cle Elum
The witness hiked Hex Mountain in the late morning and heard repeated distinct knocking from the east side near the top. The knocks came in several bursts over about ten minutes, while no other people, animals, or fresh footprints were observed. The witness did not approach the source of the sound, briefly reached the top, and then headed back down.
Hikers report possible sasquatch vocals + stalking in center of Harstine Island
Three people walking a gated logging road in the morning heard owl-like calls that seemed to come from ground level, move with them, and come from both sides of the trail. They also heard muffled voice-like sounds and a very loud, low-pitched growl from close in the forest. They noticed oddly broken and arranged branches near a marsh and clearing, felt unwelcome and watched, and left when the sounds stopped near the car.
Wood knock heard from Merrill Lake Campground, 3 miles north of Cougar
Two campers sitting around a campfire at night heard a single loud knock like a bat hitting a tree from across the lake. They saw no lights or activity on the side where the sound originated and heard nothing else that night. The witness later tried but could not replicate the sound on nearby trees.
RECENT (GOOD BET for a one-nighter): Whoops and knocks heard at Forlorn Lakes
The witness was sleeping in a tent at a remote campground when they awoke abruptly around 2 a.m. They heard several loud, low-pitched whoop-like grunts from a short distance behind the tent, apparently exchanged between two individuals. This was followed by several loud wood knocks that also seemed to be an exchange between two sources. After about an hour of silence the witness fell back asleep while companions remained asleep.
Recent activity heard over three nights at a cabin, near Plain
The witness stayed four nights in a rented cabin above the Wenatchee River with two relatives. On three consecutive nights between about 1 and 3 a.m. she heard repeated howls from the forest while awake with windows open. On the third night she also heard three loud single wood knocks followed by several minutes of thumping on the lower back deck. On the fourth night, when other people were nearby and all three listened, nothing was heard.
Possible sighting of a Sasquatch crossing Interstate 5 at north end of Centralia
The witness was driving northbound on I-5 through Centralia in a snowstorm shortly after midnight. A large dark humanoid figure crossed the highway from east to west in front of the vehicle and went over the center median without apparent effort. The witness saw its silhouetted head and shoulders against distant lights as it continued west across the southbound lanes while oncoming cars braked.
Possible Sasquatch howls north of Leavenworth, east of Lake Wenatchee
The witness was sleeping in a travel trailer at a campground when an unknown sound woke him around 1 a.m. during quiet hours. After lying back down he sat up by an open window and heard two loud, distant howls that seemed to fill the forest valley and lacked clear direction. He felt the depth, breadth and penetrating quality of the sound could not have been produced by a human.
Possible Vocalizations Near Silver Lake
The witness was sleeping with a window open at home near Silver Lake when prolonged vocalizations were heard from the southeast side of the lake late at night. The sounds were described as partly primate-like and partly human-like and seemed like communication between individuals. The witness's dog reacted fearfully, and no visual contact was reported.
Cabin renters report wood knocks and rock throwing near Leavenworth
The witness and her husband stayed at a rental cabin near Leavenworth. Over two nights they heard single loud wood knocks in the evening, including knocks heard from the hot tub area and near their car. Later at night rocks struck the exterior bedroom walls, and the next morning the witness found two rocks lying on the soil. No animal or person was seen causing the sounds.
Possible wood knocks heard near Marble mountain Sno-Park
The witness was hiking alone and stopped for water when loud wood knocking lasting 10-15 seconds was heard. The witness made phone recordings that captured one loud knock plus fainter knocks believed to come from three locations. The witness continued hiking and returned later without further sightings or sounds, noting no other people were nearby due to winter closures.
Possible sighting of a gray Bigfoot in Riverside State Park at 5 am, near Spokane
The witness was driving a relative to work in the dark when headlights lit an upright gray figure standing off the road near the tree line. The figure was seen from behind for a couple seconds with a broad back, dome-shaped head and long arms, then was gone when the witness looked back. No movement was seen and no trackway was left because there was no snow on the ground.
Possible sighting and track in the GMU 328 Naneum Unit near Ellensburg
The witness was deer hunting in open country bordering woods when they noticed an upright figure at the tree line about 300 yards away. When they raised binoculars the figure was gone and could not be relocated. After walking to a new area they found a single barefoot-like print in dirt, photographed it, and found no additional tracks.
Retired wildlife biologist reports gravel thrown at truck, a vocalization and wood knocks on Radar Dome, near Colville
The witness and a companion sat around a campfire at night in a parking lot study area. From about 200 feet away they heard growl-whoop-scream vocalizations and wood-on-wood thumps, followed later by pea gravel striking the truck. Trail cameras reportedly captured gravel in motion and a large black partial figure showing shoulder, arm and open hand.
Vocals and track on Spencer Butte
The witness and companions were elk hunting and hiking up Spencer Butte on a rainy morning when two of them heard a distant yowl. At the top the witness found an alder shaking without wind and heard something moving away. Shortly after the witness found a large left-foot print with distinct toes in mud and gravel and photographed it.
Property owners hear vocalizations similar to Orangutan, near Easton
In September 2020 the husband was operating a rented excavator in a shed when he heard loud reverberating animal whoops estimated 100-150 yards away, with a second more distant answer. He brought his wife outside to listen. She heard repeated sets of whoop-like primate calls, imitated them and heard brief responses before the sounds stopped.
Howls heard near Spokane River
The witness was at home overnight with bedroom windows open after letting her dog out when she heard a loud siren-like howl, followed a few minutes later by a fainter similar sound from farther away. She judged the sounds unlike coyote, wolf, or domestic dog and described them as a single drawn-out whooooooo that rose and then stopped. She also reported a strong trashy skunk-like odor. No visual contact was described.
Rock thrown at vehicle plus Class B sighting 5 miles north of Quilcene
The witness was driving with a passenger toward a campsite in the evening when a small rock flew from the treeline and struck the hood near the windshield. The driver saw only the rock in flight, while the passenger reported seeing a large dark crouched figure at the treeline just before impact. Both occupants interpreted the rock as deliberately thrown and later photographed a small paint chip at the impact point.
