The witness was riding as a passenger with a relative driving early in the morning past a field bordered by pine forest. Both occupants noticed a large brown hairy figure seated with its back to the road facing the treeline, and slowed to about 45 mph while passing without stopping. The figure remained stationary and was described as broad-shouldered with a pointed conical head, no distinct neck, and very long arms with hands beside the body.

While deer hunting the witness followed buck tracks down to a dense, mossy creek bottom. There he reported an intense putrid odor, a feeling of being watched and hunted, and profound fear despite hearing nothing and seeing nothing. He left quickly with weapons ready and ended hunting for the day.

A relative reportedly found a set of bipedal tracks in snow and followed them in both directions. The tracks are described as unusually deep with a very long average stride, leading from a swampy area through hardwood forest to within 20 yards of a cabin before being lost at a plowed road. Photographs with a yardstick and boot for scale were reportedly taken.

The witness and her young son were sleeping on the first floor to escape the heat. The son woke the witness saying a strange being was watching him. The son later said a picture on a Bigfoot website matched what he saw, described as having red eyes and bent over with hands on knees. The witness did not see it herself and asked if other reports existed in the area.

The witness was driving home from work at night in rain and noticed a large brown figure walking along the roadside. At first the figure was mistaken for a large man in rain gear, but on getting closer the witness judged it far too large for a person and thought it might be a Bigfoot-type creature. The witness became lost while hiking west off Rux Road and spent about 12 hours traveling through forest and waist-deep swamp. Around midday in a bog near a wilderness lake he found four to five large human-like footprints with distinct toes in the mud. Three teenagers staying overnight at a wilderness cabin woke after 1 a.m. to see a head and broad shoulders silhouetted in a moonlit upstairs window, with lightly glowing orange-red eyes peering inside. The closest teen moved away, the figure dropped from view, and the group shut the shade and remained shaken. The family dog was unusually spooked and refused walks the next day.

The witness and his girlfriend were driving east at night to look for deer when they noticed a figure walking west in a ditch beside the road. Because the ditch was about five feet below the roadway, they estimated the figure to be eight to nine feet tall. They described it as dark with wide shoulders moving easily through the ditch. They did not stop for a closer look and instead took a longer route back.

A hunting companion positioned below reportedly saw the animal on two legs and described it as apelike. Both left the area out of fear and did not return.

The witness and companions were parked late at night at a cul-de-sac off Fitzsimmons Road. They heard successive sets of loud wood-on-wood knocks that sounded progressively closer, from a few hundred yards away to within tens of yards. Frightened as the sounds approached without any visible source or movement noise, they fled in their truck without seeing what made the sounds.

As a child the witness was at home at night with siblings and a cousin when the doorbell rang repeatedly with no one there. An older brother became hysterical after seeing something peeking from behind a tree and gesturing, and later a neighbor arrived saying something had followed him in the woods. Two older girls then saw a dark form at the bottom of a trail that moved and had red eyes, and also something with a cone-shaped head peeking around a garage, and the younger children later saw a large figure pass by a window.

From about 80 yards away on a hilltop they heard heavy movement and smelled an overpowering rotten-egg sulphur odor. Two companions were hiking a faint trail in late afternoon to scout a fishing spot for the next morning. From a short distance ahead they heard an extremely loud, high-pitched scream that continued without pause for minutes. As they retreated, trees were heard and seen breaking and falling along a nearby ridge as the unseen source moved parallel to them. They never saw the source and left the area without returning.
