Four teenagers were bedded down in a small wall tent during a hiking trip when they heard heavy footsteps circling the tent three times. The steps brushed against the tent fabric without tripping on the supporting ropes, and no flashlight was seen in the darkness. The group was frightened and stayed inside the tent without going out to look.

While they rode about a half mile home, a brother reported a strange hairy man chasing them, which the witness interpreted as an adult protecting its young.

A cabin-mate reportedly looked out and described multiple large, hairy, human-like figures near the water tower and cabins. Campers were walked around the perimeter to view the traces and were sent home early.
