The witness backpacked solo to a remote campsite and spent the night in a hammock. Throughout the night he heard knocks, screams, howls, voices, footsteps, rocks and twigs landing nearby, and felt his tarp, hammock lines and gear being touched. He also noted a bent-tree structure near camp the prior evening and disturbed logs and tree piles in the morning, but reported seeing no creature.

The witness was working overnight inside a building at a trailer drop yard when loud chimpanzee-like noises were heard from the north edge near hedge apple trees. The witness yelled toward the sounds and approached to about 60 feet, when branches began shaking. A four-foot reddish animal was seen from behind in the tree with a wedge-shaped head and longer-than-human arms before it moved away out of view while noises continued.

The witness and a companion were hiking in a national forest when they stopped to rest and eat. After standing up, they noticed a very large reddish-brown figure standing down the mountainside and watched it for about 90 seconds. The figure then walked away into the trees before they could photograph it. A few minutes earlier they had heard an animal sounding in distress from the same direction.

The witness reports catching frogs near a small lake while camping with family and friends when a branch snap was heard. The witness turned and saw two brown hairy figures, one large and one smaller, noting a foul odor and loud screams, with the larger grunting as they left with a long stride. Six people were camping together on a ridge between two rivers over Labor Day weekend. Starting early Saturday morning and continuing Saturday night into Sunday morning, they heard series of very loud roar-like vocalizations from a creek bed several hundred yards away. The sounds lasted up to 45 minutes at a time, frightened the group and a dog, and led a camper to ready a pistol. Steep terrain prevented them from investigating for tracks.

A group of five hiked an old closed ridge road around midnight under moonlight. After the leader produced knocks, responsive knocking came from timber about 50 feet away where a shadowy figure was seen, and the leader exchanged sounds with it. As the group hiked back to their cars they were flanked with glowing eyes, vocalizations and rustling.

Through the night they heard return knocks, unidentified howls and loud sigh-like sounds, and a rock landed near one of them when he stepped away from the fire. In the morning they found a line of large flat footprints that they measured and cast.

While fishing the witness heard loud knocking sounds, a loud moan-like wail, and a large splash from an unseen heavy object thrown into the water nearby. The witness was tending a burn pile in darkness on a rural property after caring for horses when three loud calls were heard from toward a creek and wooded hillside within about 100 yards. The sounds were described as similar to a howler monkey and crane mix with a low rumble that was felt more than heard, and the source could not be seen. Feeling watched, the witness left for the house, and horses were reported as restless afterward.

The witness climbed into a deer blind before dawn to hunt. Shortly after sitting down, he heard a sustained higher-pitched howl from one side and a lower sustained response from the other side, neither matching animals he knew. Minutes later while getting binoculars from his truck, he heard a low gruff voice-like sound resembling "Hey You" from close range, then returned to the blind.

Around midnight in early fall, the witness was in bed watching TV at home when he heard loud howls through closed windows, followed by ape-like grunts. His horse became very nervous and distant dogs were barking. He woke his wife after the sounds stopped and they later compared the sounds to Bigfoot recordings online and found them very similar.

The witness and a companion were camping in tents in a largely deserted mountain campground. On two consecutive nights after 11 p.m. the witness heard strange sounds near his tent, including chatter, stone-like banging, cough-like and shushing noises, and a deep guttural grunt from about thirty feet away. On the second night small debris struck the side of his tent as if thrown. The companion confirmed hearing weird noises on the first night.

At dawn they were awakened by three very loud, very low-pitched, human-sounding grunts from just outside the tent, described as close enough to vibrate the witness's diaphragm and originating above tent height. Cooking gear and plates with food residue left out on the picnic table were undisturbed.

A group camping near a river spent three late nights walking north of their campsite to look for Sasquatch. They claim loud tree knocks, howls, grunts, heavy bipedal movement and red glowing eyes, plus a shadowy figure that rose from about five feet to about eight feet tall. They also claim a glow stick left on a gravel road was later found moved to the base of a hollow tree.

Later in a quarry area they reported watching a human-like figure in night-vision goggles that crouched when noticed, followed by a rock thrown nearby, after which they left.
Possible activity experienced by campers at a popular campground in the Mount Hood National Forest
The witness and two companions camped in the Mt Hood National Forest with a barrel of animal entrails intended as bait. Over three days they reported loud screams from a nearby ridge, nighttime wood knocks, heavy steps and snapping twigs, and found their camp table apparently bitten through. They moved the bait pile away from camp, later found most of it missing with a wet sweet dog-like odor at the site.

The witness and a companion camped for two nights beside a lake in pine forest. On both nights they exchanged wood knocks with unseen sources and heard a whoop, and something large walked past their tent. On the second night they watched red eyes near camp, then heard a very close loud grunt and packed up and left feeling unwelcome.

The witness was camping with extended family in multiple tents when awakened after midnight by rhythmic tapping and footsteps moving around the tents. A dog in camp whimpered, and relatives in another tent reported footsteps, heavy breathing, and two individuals apparently communicating before one screamed. The witness and his father exited their tent within seconds and saw nothing. Around 4 a.m. the camp again heard rocks clicking and chattering from dense woods about 50 yards away.
