The witness and a relative were hunting and crossing an open field to leave around dusk. The witness, waiting alone in the open, saw a distant figure walking with large steps along their earlier path and then standing behind a tree watching and moving its head side to side. After the relative rejoined and looked toward it, both ran to the trail and got a ride out from a passing couple.
Possible activity at a home outside Queen City
A child riding a toy vehicle in the backyard told a relative to come see something, but a relative hurried over and the thing was already gone. The child described a tall brown hairy figure watching her, with upright hair on top of its head, taller than a parent, and said it was not a cow from a nearby pasture. The family questioned the child and believed she had seen something unusual, and she has since avoided the spot.

The witness was working overnight inside a building at a trailer drop yard when loud chimpanzee-like noises were heard from the north edge near hedge apple trees. The witness yelled toward the sounds and approached to about 60 feet, when branches began shaking. A four-foot reddish animal was seen from behind in the tree with a wedge-shaped head and longer-than-human arms before it moved away out of view while noises continued.

Two men sat in complete darkness in a forest hotspot talking and playing harmonicas to invite contact while two companions monitored from about 100 yards with a thermal imager. After hearing a stick break and soft knocks, they reported seeing a small red-orange light near the ground that illuminated ferns and silhouetted what looked like a large finger with knuckles moving toward them before fading. They remained on site afterward playing music and talking.

A couple sitting at a picnic table beside a small pond noticed leaves fluttering with no wind and then saw a very large dark figure about 30 yards away in the treeline swaying back and forth. The wife described a gorilla-like face while her husband focused on the immense body size. After briefly watching them, the figure stepped back into the shadows and disappeared silently.

While scanning the treeline the witness saw a large, silent figure move quickly left to right through trees, noting a hand and long straggly hair, then a second broader flash before losing sight. They radioed camp, waited and watched, and saw a deer approach closely then bolt screaming toward the woods; a later search with others found nothing further that day.

While approaching, something large moved alongside through the woods breaking branches, and the witness found large footprints including a tiny print in one heel. The witness then heard a large splash in the creek followed by paired guttural growls that stopped after the witness whooped, and later described seeing a large hairy figure peeking from behind a tree across the creek.

They did not stop to look for tracks and reported the incident to seek an explanation.

He did not stop for a closer look and judged it at least as large as local bears he had seen.

The witness was driving south on a highway late at night with his companion asleep in the back seat. As he passed the median shoulder he saw a large black upright figure standing close to the car. He could see the torso from ground to shoulder, the arm along the thigh and a lighter-skinned hand, but not the face which was shadowed. He did not stop and reported feeling extreme anxiety and fear.
