The witness described driving into the back entrance of his subdivision late at night on two occasions within the last month. Both times deer gathered by the road suddenly fled as he passed, and he saw in his rearview mirror a large brown biped come out of the adjacent forest, run a few steps toward his car, then turn away out of view. He reported being scared and said he could give no further detail, recalling no odor or sound during the road encounters.

The witness was driving east on I-10 near Sonora around 1 a.m. when headlights revealed a tall dark figure standing in the center median. The figure rotated to keep its side toward the vehicle, then turned to face it before running south across the road with a forward lean and pumping arms. The witness turned back and searched the median for about 30 minutes but found only grass and no tree or bush to explain the figure.

The driver claimed a dark upright figure stood in the middle of the highway in the early morning and did not move when honked at. The driver swerved to miss the figure at close range, left the highway and rolled into the woods. The companions were shaken for hours but later denied the incident, and the witness remains uncertain whether it was a costumed person or a real creature.

Two boys walked from their houses into nearby woods toward a creekbed to shoot BB guns while footsteps seemed to parallel them and close to nearby. At the bottom of the creekbed they looked toward the sounds and saw a roughly seven-foot-tall hair-covered figure whose face they could not discern. Both fled home in fear and said the figure did not follow them.
