Hiker finds possible tracks in Indian Ridge area of Jasper National Park
The witness hiked solo down off-trail via a gap into a high meadow in Jasper National Park. While crossing the meadow she found a very large footprint with distinct toes and later a second partial impression of similar length. She photographed the tracks and landscape, later noticing what looked like a possible cave opening in the photos.
Retired mail carrier reports sundown knocks and responses on east flank of Rockies near Calgary
The witness parked at a pullout on Highway 66 to photograph the sunset behind the mountains. While waiting in the vehicle he heard distant wood knocks and answered them with a bat, receiving replies that seemed progressively closer on the north side of the road. Later he heard a scream-howl from the south side followed by another nearby knock, after which the exchange ended.
Two hunters experience prolonged tree shaking and rock throwing near Nordegg
Two hunters set up a night camp to cook dinner when they heard movement in a nearby tree line for about half an hour. After a warning shotgun shot into the air, a tree shook violently and soccer-ball-sized rocks were thrown toward camp for about 20 minutes, totaling 17 rocks. The hunters packed up while the activity continued and left the area.
Possible dusk sighting at Kananaskis campground
The witness was camping and skipping rocks by a river with a child and dog near sunset. The dog stared across the river and bristled, prompting the witness to look across. The witness saw a large bulky figure at the far bank that rose from a crouch, turned, and walked into brush out of view. The figure was estimated to be about 165 yards away and much larger and wider than a person.
Camper experiences possible aggressive night time display west of Bragg Creek
A solo camper spent the night on a plateau west of Bragg Creek during rain and thunderstorms. Through the night the camper heard log-banging, close movement, breathing, branch breaking, a tarp strike, a grunt, a boulder throw and a tree being pushed over, and glimpsed an upright figure walking downhill toward a creek. At dawn the camper heard loud bird-like calls from multiple directions, and found large grass impressions the next morning.
Strange screams frighten fly fisherman and cattle near Sundre
The witness camped alone and awoke around 6 a.m. He heard a high-pitched scream like a woman screaming from the south. After he made a whoop call, a slightly lower scream answered from the north about 5-10 seconds later. Nearby cattle immediately became agitated, mooing loudly and stampeding toward the campground.
Two witnesses and possible double sighting in the Waiparous Creek Provincial Recreation Area
The witness and companions were riding off-road vehicles on a forest trail in early afternoon. The witness watched a dark single-colored upright figure across a creek for under a minute before it took two long smooth strides into dense woods to the east. After later discussion a companion reported simultaneously watching a second similar figure that left the trail to the west. No tracks were sought at the time because both initially assumed the figures were people.

The witness says a relative called about a footprint in backyard mud. The witness went with a companion, observed a single barefoot-like left print in a small mud patch, recorded dimensions and notes, and made a plaster cast that broke but was glued back together. The witness did not claim the print was from a Sasquatch and noted it was odd to find a barefoot print in winter.

Two people walking by a creek behind their cabin while shooting .22 rifles found unusual tracks in snow about 10 inches deep. The tracks were about 13 inches long and 6 inches wide, offset like human tracks but with irregularly long intervals. The witness said they could not jump from one track to the next.

Two people walking near a hotel on a very cold January afternoon noticed a large dark figure moving steadily up a snow-covered hill in the distance. They described it as walking upright and bipedally and appearing larger than a human. They watched it for about 20 to 30 minutes until they had to go inside, and it was gone when they checked again later.
Family hears ear piercing sream outside their cabin north of Westlock
The witness and two family members were settling to sleep in a recently purchased cabin late at night. A loud, shrill scream was heard from just outside the thin door. The witnesses, who described themselves as experienced outdoorsmen familiar with local animal sounds, said it matched nothing they knew. Nothing else happened that night and no tracks were found the next day.

A family of five driving between Grand Prairie and Tumbler Ridge stopped on Boot Lake Road and found large barefoot human-like footprints in snow in a roadside ditch. About eight prints were clear, with a ninth leading into brush where willows were bent and broken. They estimated the size and stride but did not follow or photograph them because the children were frightened.

The sounds were said to match recordings referenced on the reporting site. No creature was seen and no physical trace was reported.
Hunting trailer violently shook by unknown animal
Three hunters were sleeping in a trailer at a remote camp. In the early morning hours the trailer began rocking violently from side to side, waking the occupants, who armed themselves and went outside but saw and heard nothing further. At daybreak they found indistinct ground marks and large smudged marks high on the trailer's rear corners, concluded an unknown animal had grabbed and rocked the trailer, and left the area.
Hunter recalls strange incidents while camping near Valleyview
The witness was tracking elk sign alone in the late afternoon when he smelled a foul odor, felt watched, then saw several large bipedal animals scatter through thick brush and fled back to camp. Around 2 a.m. the whole camping party was awakened by very loud, prolonged yowl-like screams preceded by banging sounds. The party left the area after daybreak.
Memory told of finding possible fresh tracks and pebbles thrown while hiking near Jasper
The witness and spouse were hiking uphill in heavy snow when they found about a dozen very fresh, large barefoot-like tracks crossing the slope. As they examined the tracks, nearby foliage shook as if an animal was present, and they felt sudden fear and decided to leave. While descending about 300 yards, small pebbles were repeatedly tossed at them from behind, striking the witness in the back without injury until they began to run.
Man remembers backyard baseball game interrupted by possible screams near Morley
Five children were playing baseball in a clearing near home on a warm summer afternoon when they heard a loud siren-like scream ending in a growl. After a second scream they dropped their equipment and ran home while the screaming continued. They said they had never heard such a sound before and were terrified.
Possible sighting by off-road bikers near Buck Lake
Two youths riding a dirt bike back toward a farm noticed a tall dark figure walking upright on a rural road. When they stopped near a turn, the figure crouched briefly and then scrambled into the roadside ditch and dense bush. The pair fled to the farm and armed themselves without discussing the sighting at the time.
Creature seen standing 75 feet from family home.
The witness and a companion heard a loud scream at night at their farm home but could see nothing in the dark. The next morning they followed footprints in the snow starting about 75 feet from the home on the west side of the garage toward the swamp. The prints were described as large bare human-like feet, and hair was found where the track-maker appeared to have leaned against a pine tree, which the witness collected.
Possible Vocalizations heard in Southern Alberta
One evening in summer, the witness sat on the back deck of a home on the coulee banks and heard loud, garbled, female-like vocalizations from below the embankment toward the river. The sounds first suggested someone in trouble, then a mountain lion, but later the witness felt they closely matched a chatter recording. No creature was seen.
