At a bend in the trail they found a single very large human-like footprint in mud at the water's edge, with disturbed sand in the creek and a wet mark on a rock opposite. They reported seeing, hearing, and smelling nothing else, measured the print against a rifle barrel, and described it as not a bear track but possibly Sasquatch while noting they never saw the maker.

Along the way they noticed small trees broken off high above the ground, then found a single very large right footprint in a soft spot in the road. The witness was walking back from the mailbox in the afternoon when she heard deep man-like grunts and thumping from a brush thicket beside the driveway. She saw part of a large reddish-brown fur-covered animal, hunched over and rubbing or pounding its head or shoulders on trees. When she moved to get a better view, the animal ran toward her growling with heavy footfalls, and she fled to the house as it hit downed trees and stopped at the brush edge.

Two people became locked behind gates on dirt access roads and had to spend the night in their car. After dark they repeatedly heard loud wood-on-wood knocking sounds very close each time they stopped the car. They moved the car several times to different roads, but the knocking resumed shortly after each stop and continued until sunrise. After sunrise they noticed a bark wound high on a tree near the car.

The witness was driving past a marshy wetland area beside a highway during morning rush hour and peered into the woods and fields. About 200-250 yards away near a creek, the witness saw a dark upright human-like silhouette standing motionless for 4-5 seconds, apparently looking down. Unable to discern fine detail, the witness could not rule out a tree trunk or person, but on revisiting the spot on later days the shape was gone.

Four companions on a nighttime hike in a canyon stopped when they heard an extremely loud distant sound lasting 15-20 seconds that echoed through the mountains. The sound began like a distant motorcycle and shifted into a mechanical scream, frightening the group into running down to the valley bottom. They could not identify the source, and the reporter later felt an online Bigfoot scream recording was the closest match.
