The witness backpacked to Deadman's Lake for a one-night stay during elk season. Before dark he heard a distant howl, then at about 11:24 p.m. he was awakened by a loud high-pitched screaming howl from the meadow next to his camp. He opened the tent with a light and camera but saw nothing and did not hear the sound again, though nearby owls called afterward. In the morning he searched and found only elk and no unusual sign before packing out as weather turned.
Vocalizations heard near Rockingham
The witness was awakened around 3 a.m. by very loud, clear repetitive whooping calls near the house, with a second more distant caller responding. Around 4-4:15 a.m. the calls resumed louder and closer, alarming the dog, prompting the witness to check sheep, goats and chickens with a flashlight and see nothing, after which the calls stopped. The witness could not match the sound to any known local animal.
Family and friends hear a late night vocalization from their home near Lake Sutherland
The witness reports a very loud simultaneous whistle, scream and growl coming from about 70 feet across the road from the cabin. The sound was heard by the witness and five other people and was described as unlike any known animal. An investigator later interviewed the witness and companions about the vocalization and noted inconclusive evidence in the area.

The witness and a companion briefly left their truck to check a regular campsite. From about 10 feet away they heard loud cracking in brush and saw it moving violently, then heard and felt two or three extremely heavy steps moving away. They saw no animal but concluded something very large, fast and heavy had been startled nearby.

The witness threw rocks toward the sounds thinking it was a bear, but the noises continued, so the family packed up and left without further incident.

The witness and a companion were bowhunting about 200 yards apart near dark when both heard loud primal screaming from about 100 yards away. While camping alone during an archery hunt, the witness was awake in the tent around 4 a.m. listening for elk. A low growl was heard from very close, followed by a loud scraping sound and a thud/stomp from trees 2-3 feet from the tent. The witness made noise and went outside yelling with an axe but heard nothing further and saw nothing.
Several tracks found near County dump for Bandon
The witness explored a clearcut in Coos County Forest looking for hiking routes and found a bare footprint larger than his boot with visible toes. After rain washed the area, he returned and found additional larger and smaller impressions with a roughly six-foot stride, and later found similar long impressions on harder ground nearby. On a return visit he also heard repeated short whistle-like sounds receding from the creek area but saw no source.

While driving to church on a Sunday morning in August 2004, the witness saw a figure standing behind tall vegetation near a pond. The figure was visible from the waist up, appeared covered in dark chestnut fur-like hair, and had very broad shoulders. The other occupant in the vehicle did not see it, and the witness reported not seeing it again.

Last summer the witness was in bed at a cabin bordering dense national forest when she heard prolonged yelling from a ridge behind the house, estimated at about a half-mile away. They moved out of the fire glare to look and shone a light toward the sound, after which it stopped with no source found. The witness's dog showed no reaction, and no further activity occurred that night.

The witness was flying as a front-seat passenger in a small bush plane over an isolated highway. He noticed a dark, upright figure emerge from the south, walk straight across the highway and ditch, and disappear into the bush, watching it for about 30 seconds. He did not point it out to the pilot until afterward and saw no parked or moving vehicles nearby.

The witness walked with two friends to an abandoned gravel pit to set off bright fireworks. Around 1 a.m. the group heard a very loud, low-pitched scream lasting one to two seconds from some distance away. The group was startled but dismissed it at the time; the witness later associated the sound with reported Sasquatch screams heard online.
Possible stalking outside a campers' tent in the White Knob mountains
On the last night of a camping trip, the witness lay awake in a tent around midnight and heard close footsteps and deep breathing from a large presence outside. The witness sat up, armed, and turned on a flashlight, after which all sounds stopped and a sudden intense dread lifted. No animal was seen, no odor was noticed, and nothing further happened that night.
Possible camp stalking at Taylor Reservoir outside Aspen
The witness and his wife were bedded down in their pop-up camper at night when they heard lapping sounds and their skillet rattling outside. The witness opened the camper door expecting a bear and saw a large dark upright shape about forty feet away moving swiftly into the timber. The camper shook strongly as the animal left while nearby dogs barked. In the morning no tracks were found and they could not recreate the shaking.
Possible vocalization heard near Hoop Lake
The witness and three family members stopped their ATVs on a mountain shoulder overlooking a meadow and forest. After the witness twice imitated alleged sasquatch vocalizations, something answered from the nearby forest. The group left quickly after a cow moose bolted from the trees while looking back. The witness noted the answering sound did not match familiar wildlife but remained unconvinced it was a sasquatch.
Campers Awaken to Unknown Vocalizations, Brush Popping and Foul Odor
About 2 a.m., dozens of campers were awakened by loud prolonged screams from the woods east of the campground. Six campers entered the woods with flashlights toward the sound about 200-300 ft from the perimeter, smelled a foul odor and heard loud brush movement and wood cracking, then retreated. The screams lasted 20-25 minutes total, fading to the east with a similar sound from the south, followed by coyotes howling.
While scouting, hunter hears morning vocalization west of Scappoose
The witness was scouting and watching six deer off Dutch Canyon road in the early morning. The deer looked east toward a treeline about 1000 meters away, then a loud scream rising into a moaning growl came from those woods and the deer fled west. The witness watched the treeline with binoculars for almost two hours but had no visual sighting.
Bigfoot print in cement
The witness had a 12 by 24 foot cement pad poured for a new dog kennel and then was out of town for the weekend. Between Friday evening and Saturday late afternoon, something left a very large footprint in the middle of the wet cement, which then hardened permanently. The witness also found another possible print in dirt beside the pad about 10-12 feet away, photographed the cement print, and asked for help identifying what made it.
