Through the night they heard return knocks, unidentified howls and loud sigh-like sounds, and a rock landed near one of them when he stepped away from the fire. In the morning they found a line of large flat footprints that they measured and cast.

While driving to work in the morning, the witness saw a dark object on the road she first thought was an ATV. As she got closer it moved off the road into the ditch, then stood up from a bent-over position, lifted a leg over a log, and disappeared into the forest. Her husband later checked the crossing spot for tracks but dense pine needles and leaf litter prevented finding any sign.

It first moved fast on all fours toward [name withheld] treeline, then turned, stood and walked briefly on two legs showing white and brown coloration, and disappeared into brush after looking back.

Something unseen in dense brush thrashed vegetation, produced a loud growl, and moved away with heavy pounding steps that shook the ground and broke branches. The witness retreated to a shed and then to the house for a shotgun, and later noted a strong musky odor at the residence.

The witness discovered a track way in fresh snow in the early morning after a heavy overnight snowfall, noting it had not been present the day before. The relative spotted a dark figure walking upright on two legs up a steep, snow-covered hillside behind an RV sales lot toward the tree line. The witness also glimpsed the figure, noting its large size, broad shoulders, and ease of movement uphill in snow without using its arms. They did not stop to look for tracks and reported the incident to seek an explanation.

After watching for about 20-30 seconds the witness closed the curtain, later associated the figure with images of Bigfoot, and checked the door locks to feel safe.

The witness estimated the prints at 15.5 inches long with 5- to 7-foot increments and judged no known animal could have made them. A family of four driving through Geneva State Park in daylight stopped after noticing a large dark bipedal figure moving through snowy woods. The figure was watched briefly for about ten seconds before disappearing. Shortly after from a nearby parking lot the adults made whoop calls and heard replies described as whoops, a scream or growl, and wood knocks, while also noticing a strong unpleasant odor.

The witness was driving home at night when, after glancing away from an oncoming car's high beams, they saw the lower part of a large dark long-haired figure. Only two very large legs with extremely large feet were visible in the headlights as it took three steps across the road and a fourth step up the roadside bank. The witness briefly stopped to look for tracks from the car, then left feeling frightened.

On the night of Jan. 13, 2014, the witness spotlighted a distant field from home and saw red eye shine that reacted to the light. After retrieving a relative, the two drove to a pond with tall reeds about 300 yards away and again picked up eye shine high in the reeds. They watched the eyes blink and move low through a creek embankment from left to right, but could see no body because of distance. The witness recorded about a minute of phone video and estimated eye height the next day at 7.5 to 8 feet based on reed height.

While driving on a road that follows a river on a hot day, the witness noticed a large cinnamon-colored animal standing on all fours in the shallow water at a distance. He could not see its head because of distance and overhanging branches. He first thought it was a bear but noted the fur looked unusually long and shaggy, obscuring where legs met body. He did not stop for a closer look and judged it at least as large as local bears he had seen.

The witness was tending a burn pile in darkness on a rural property after caring for horses when three loud calls were heard from toward a creek and wooded hillside within about 100 yards. The sounds were described as similar to a howler monkey and crane mix with a low rumble that was felt more than heard, and the source could not be seen. Feeling watched, the witness left for the house, and horses were reported as restless afterward.

The witness and a companion were elk hunting off a forest road when they heard a loud sharp snap uphill interpreted as a large limb or small tree being broken. They scanned the hillside but saw no animal and heard nothing further. They were then struck by a nauseating putrid odor and felt an ominous urge to leave, so they left the area.

The witness was driving east with his spouse around midday when he noticed a dark figure on the highway center line less than a quarter-mile ahead. The figure took about four steps to cross the road and berm and disappeared into the roadside treeline. When the vehicle reached the crossing point no person or animal was visible, and the spouse had not seen the figure.

The witness was riding as a passenger while driving south toward town at night when an upright figure crossed the two-lane road in the headlights of their car and an oncoming car. The witness saw only the upper body and pumping arms as it crossed the road in about two and a half strides and then disappeared. The driver also saw something but was unsure what it was.
