Strange occurrences at a rural cabin near West Union causes owner to put it up for sale
A couple staying overnight on the screened porch of a wooded cabin report two nights of disturbance in June 2017. The first night included talk-like and giggling sounds followed by an hour of limbs breaking all around them. The second night something vocalized loudly near the creek, rushed toward the cabin causing felt impacts, then ran off breaking wood. The next morning they found widespread broken limbs and a snapped tree but no footprints, and did not return.

Two people had been fishing at Caesar Creek Lake and were packing up after sundown when a growling/hissing sound came from the treeline. They shone a flashlight into the woods and saw green eyes, heard trees and brush thrashing as something moved, and smelled a strong scat-like stench. After watching about five minutes they gathered gear and walked back to the parking area feeling watched.
Two witnesses find animal carcasses in possible display arrangement, near Coshocton on the Woodbury Wildlife Refuge
The witness and a companion visited the companion's deer-hunting area and found scattered deer bones alongside muskrats laid in a straight row. Nearby by a small lake they found at least a dozen dead ducks wedged and twisted into tree limbs and scattered on the ground, which they videotaped. The witness described the display as eerie and unnatural and did not attribute it to a specific cause.
