The witness was hiking with family to a series of caves in the early afternoon. The witness and a relative each noticed a footprint in moss along the way, about 200 yards from the caves and about 20 feet apart. The witness photographed the prints with a water bottle and foot for scale. No other unusual activity, sounds, or sightings were reported.

The witness reported finding weeks-old tracks in deep snow on a logging road area described as undisturbed by humans for months. The trackway reportedly continued for about 800 yards with large footprints and a long step in about five feet of packed snow. The witness was hiking with family near Bear Hill Trail and photographing the children when two large, deep footprints with distinct toes and heels were noticed on a hillside. A third similar print was later found higher up on the trail, and photos and video were taken including the witness's own foot for scale. The witness also heard a twig snap uphill but saw no person or animal.

The witness and two relatives were camped in a remote site in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Late at night the witness heard prolonged rustling and crackling at the camper's tarp porch, initially thinking a bear had returned. About half an hour later multiple rounds of rocks struck the camper, including a larger rock on the roof, waking the other two campers. In the morning the camp was undisturbed and a rock was found in a hammock behind the camper.

The witness reported being awake late at night in a mountain cabin when she heard knocks that sounded like they were getting closer, then a powerful hit shook the wall where she slept. She also reported an extremely loud screaming growl and moved to the loft for the remainder of the night. The next day she noticed a smear on the cabin wall and a possible heel print on the ground below.

The witness reports finding three large footprint-like impressions along a stream in a forested area. Dollar bills were placed beside them for scale and photos were taken, with the witness's spouse assisting in documentation. While crossing the meadow she found a very large footprint with distinct toes and later a second partial impression of similar length. The witness and a companion hiked into a remote swamp-surrounded ridge to survey snake habitat. While the companion stepped away, the witness heard bipedal footsteps and branch snaps from the swamp below and called out with no response. The witness then watched a dark upright figure move between trees for several seconds before it disappeared. Both left the area quickly.

The witness was driving east with a companion on a private dirt road in daylight when she noticed a dark, shaggy shape behind a fence near Long Creek. She described it as crouched or standing motionless, with a pointed head and broad shoulders, about three feet taller than the fence, and believed it was trying to remain unseen. The companion did not see it, and when they turned around and returned the shape was gone, but they found what they thought were two footprints nearby.

The witness and a relative were scouting elk near a mountain summit when the witness saw two dark figures about 300 yards away walking away from them. The relative did not see the figures. The two drove to the rocky ledge where the figures had been, but the figures were gone, and they noted a pair of tracks leading to the edge of a drop in old hard snow.

The witness stood in the front yard before work in the early morning darkness and heard three loud knocks followed by a single knock from woods across the road. Seconds later, answering knocks came from deeper in the woods toward the lake. The surroundings were otherwise completely silent, and no people or lights were seen in the woods.

The witness was driving west on Highway 60 after crossing the Brazos River around 2:45 a.m. when a large dark shape on the roadside rose to a standing position and stepped or leapt into the darkness. The view lasted about two seconds at highway speed, revealing a very tall, thick bipedal figure that appeared dark with no discernible features. The witness, who said they had not previously believed in such beings, reported being shaken and convinced by what they saw.

On September 3, 2017, the witness and two companions were picnicking and hiking in forest land near Colville National Forest. During a daytime walk in a dry creek bed, the witness and a companion found two large human-like footprints. That evening at dusk from near their parked vehicle, they made howl calls and tree knocks and heard two howl responses from different directions.
