Campers have possible encounter while staying in High Point State Park
Two brothers camped overnight beside a lake in the park. During the night and again after dawn they repeatedly heard a loud aggressive exhale-like sound nearby, along with footsteps and branches breaking as something moved through the forest, followed by scream-like sounds that turned into chatter. In daylight they found a matted vegetation bed, a fresh flattened trail, and footprints in mud where the sounds had come from. The entity itself was never seen.
Hikers find large barefoot prints on the Elwha River Trail
The witness and a companion were hiking out after a multi-day camping trip when they found a large barefoot-like print in mud, with additional fainter tracks continuing along the trail, and took a single cellphone photo. That night while sheltering in a trail cabin with a poncho rigged over an open window, the covering was pulled open and a securing board was knocked onto a camper despite no observed wind. The witness noted the nighttime disturbance could have been a bear, but also noted a food-strewn garbage bag was left untouched.

The witness was snowmobiling with two companions in the Boundary Waters area when they found large human-like footprints in snow crossing lakes. They photographed the tracks over three days in March 2007 and reported measurements of about 16 inches long with a roughly six-foot stride. No figure was seen, only the tracks and an apparent light in one distant photo.

The witness was camping with a scout group at Loon Lake when two groups of loud, low howl-like calls were heard from a distance through the forest in the early morning. The witness, accompanied by relatives in the tent, described the calls as powerful and haunting and thought they came from a very large animal. Other campers also heard the sounds, with some attributing them to wolves, while the witness later felt they matched a sasquatch howl recording.

The witness was driving past a flooded rice field in daylight when she noticed an unusual figure, turned around, and watched a huge hair-covered biped repeatedly bending over as if searching mud or shallow water. She photographed it through her car window, honked, and saw it leave. Officers later found large humanlike tracks in the identified area leading toward adjacent woods.

The witness claims finding a fresh large footprint in muddy ground near a river in the early afternoon, with photographs taken and others present. At the same time the group heard noises from underbrush up the hill. They thought the noise could possibly have been a herd of elk.
Park Rangers and residents of Glendale Springs observe large footprints in deep snow
The witness claimed large foot-shaped tracks were found in deep snow around their home in Glendale Springs. The tracks were described as 12 to 16 inches long and spaced 5 to 6 feet apart, extending over a mile or more and appearing to cross a split-rail fence in one stride. More than ten residents and park rangers reportedly saw the tracks and photos were taken, while rangers suggested rabbits or small animals as an explanation.

The witness and two companions found large wide three-toed tracks in mud on a two-track trail near camp. They saw about seven clear steps spaced far apart on a slight downhill. They suspected a possible prank, and the tracks later washed away in rain.
