From the car area she heard the same loud vocalization coming from across the lake where she had been and saw the fishermen hurrying across the dam, after which all parties left.

At about 75 yards he saw a large dark figure walk through the field toward the creek, pause to stare at him, then stride quickly into the woods. The sighting lasted seconds and his hound whined during it.
