On a Monday afternoon day off, the witness hiked alone to a remote glacial pond and bog. From the pond overlook around 1pm she noticed a figure wading at the far edge and took two photos, after which the figure turned to look at her. Feeling frightened she left, later checked the shoreline from another path and found no one, and on reviewing the images thought the figure looked inhuman.
Wood knock near Ashland, Ohio (2026)
A couple hiking in a wetland preserve heard several loud wood knocks after crossing a boardwalk bridge. Later on the trail they found several large barefoot human-like tracks pressed deeply into mud, which the reporter photographed. No creature was seen and no other unusual events occurred at the time.
Daylight sighting 20 miles northeast of Penn State -- a sasquatch crossing I-80
A driver traveling west on an interstate in Pennsylvania in the late afternoon saw a tall, uniformly dark, slender upright figure cross the highway from right to left in front of a car ahead. The figure moved quickly and smoothly, cleared a guardrail without pausing, and disappeared into a wooded median within a few seconds. A passenger in the truck did not see the figure.

Three witnesses feeding a dog noticed dogs barking and running toward a figure emerging from a treed area. The figure moved quickly without running across a pasture toward a pond, walking upright before dropping to all fours near the pond, while the dogs stopped barking and returned to the house. The witnesses recorded distant photos and video that are unclear when enlarged.
Train spotters describe night time incident at Folkston Funnel (railroad junction)
Four people were train-spotting and camping by railroad tracks at night when they heard noise in brush across the tracks and saw eyeshine and a large silhouette swaying. They reported a foul odor, cats fleeing, and rocks thrown toward them from the brush direction, with impacts sparking on the tracks. One teen went inside while the remaining witnesses heard chatter and a branch snap south of the first figure, leading the witness to think two creatures were present. The witness then lit the brush and saw a tall bipedal silhouette stand before it disappeared, with no further activity over the next two nights.
Growl near Beaver, Washington (2024)
The witness was sleeping lightly in a tent on family property during a reunion camping trip after several nights of growls, whoops, and sounds of movement in the woods. About 1:46am something pressed the back of the tent against her back, grabbed her left arm through the fabric, and shook the tall air mattress violently while a bright white light shone on the tent. The shaking and light stopped, and she found the tent had been pushed 5 to 7 feet forward. She stayed awake, left the next morning, and later found fingerprint-like marks on her arm that were photographed.
Possible bigfoot stalking around RV campground 23 miles east of Honobia
A family was camped by their camper in daylight when a loud wood knock came from the treeline about 50 yards away. All family members turned toward the sound, and their leashed dog growled and stared toward the trees while trying to scent the source. After about 15 minutes they dismissed the incident.
Stalking by a large creature around family tents at midnight at Skookumchuck Reservoir
The witness was lying awake in a tent at a restricted lakeside camp around midnight when she heard slow, rhythmic footsteps circling the campsite for about 45 minutes. The walker paused near food areas, approached another tent when a child cried, and left after a car alarm sounded, stepping over a fence into the woods. She never opened the tent to look and concluded from the stride and sounds that it was not human.
Apparent bigfoot track (see photos) in Sulphur River bottom outside town of Bogota
The witness went to check cattle on leased land near the south Sulphur River and found a single clear heavy barefoot-like imprint in gravel-mixed soil just inside a gate in a secluded area. The witness noted only a few people have access and saw no reason for anyone to be barefoot there. The witness photographed the imprint with a scale object and searched the area for additional prints.
Long bigfoot trackway found in state forest near Jacksonville
On a February night during a team camping investigation, the witness walked a sandy road near powerlines and found large footprint impressions in the sand. The team marked the clearest prints and returned in the morning to document a faint quarter-mile trackway ending at a creek, measuring 16-inch prints with a 54-inch stride. They attempted plaster casts and a phone-based 3D scan, though thick plaster obscured toe detail.
Bigfoot snow tracks found by deer hunters 24 miles east of Buffalo
The witness and a relative were deer hunting in the morning when they found large human-shaped bipedal tracks in snow. The tracks had a stride of at least six feet and paralleled deer tracks. They followed the trackway for well over a mile to a posted property line. The witness noted fresh snow had fallen into the tracks and said photos were taken.
Possible bigfoot footprints and whoops in Kootenai NF at Weasel Cabin 15 NE of Eureka (MT)
Two campers at a cabin campsite found a toe-bearing footprint near a creek and noticed broken branches on a nearby trail. That evening something struck the cabin with a loud impact, and later while sitting at the campfire they heard repeated whoops for several minutes followed by deep rumbling calls. After ruling out known animals, they concluded the sounds were two Sasquatch communicating.
Possible trackway found and photographed 50 miles NE of Pittsburgh
Shortly after dawn the witness noticed a strange human-like trackway in the snow near the house while watching the dog. After daylight he inspected the prints and found dozens in a straight line between houses with a long step and no shoe tread. He photographed the tracks with his phone. The trackway appeared to have been made overnight and led from a neighboring field to the road.
Possible sighting and tree shaking on S. Fork American River 30 miles NE of Sacramento
The witness rode horses to a river access and picnic area and stopped to rest and take photos. She glimpsed a reddish-brown figure showing only buttocks and leg as it darted upright into brush to hide. Immediately afterward nearby branches were shaken violently back and forth though no animal could be seen. She left because she was alone and unarmed, remaining skeptical because she never saw the head.
Kayakers report camp intimidation all night long on Lower Buffalo River
Two campers floating and fishing the Lower Buffalo River heard loud monkey-like vocalizations from the bank and later camped on a gravel bar. Through the night they reported repeated wood knocks, yells, chatter, whistles, a tree snap, and cantaloupe-sized rocks landing in the river from the ridge across from camp. They lit the camp, kept fire watch in shifts, and at dawn packed and paddled out after a final rock fell in front of them.
Fishern reports knocks and trees pushed over on lake near Greenwood
Over spring and summer 2022 the witness repeatedly visited a remote trout pond to fish from a canoe. During visits the witness heard multiple tree falls and many tree knocks without seeing the source, with activity increasing to a peak in mid-August. On a mid-August visit the witness found a birch section leaned against another tree at the water's edge that had not been noticed before and later found intact birch bark on rocks blocking the trail. The witness reported strange occurrences only while on the pond fishing, not while hiking in, out, or around.
Wood knock near Clover, South Carolina (2022)
The witness was walking in a power line cut in the early afternoon when loud wood-on-wood knocks were heard from both sides of the clearing, seeming to answer each other. The witness also found a large grassy bedding depression with a very strong unfamiliar odor nearby. No other witnesses were present.
Sighting, photos and video (distant) of a probable Sasquatch near Lac Du Flambeau Indian Rez
The witness was duck hunting on foot in a remote marsh in north-central Wisconsin on the morning of October 17, 2021. From a distance he noticed a large black bipedal figure moving quickly through swamp muck away from him, watching it with the naked eye for several hundred yards before capturing phone photos and video. After the hunt he checked the access points and found no other people or vehicles.
Couple returning home spots a bigfoot crossing their driveway outside Columbiana
The witness and a companion arrived home by car in the evening and saw a large fur-covered figure cross the driveway on all fours and enter cattails by a pond, where it disappeared from view. The figure was described as very large and fast, low to the ground and bent in the middle, with a barrel-like torso. An investigator visited the next day, found impressions in grass and mud, photographed them and made casts.
Missing chickens lead to discovery of large footprints by chicken coop near Bloomingdale
The witness found all chickens missing from the coop, which was covered in feathers but had no bodies or blood. While searching the property near the creek, the witness discovered a very large footprint and photographed and measured it. An investigator later found additional prints in the same area.
