On a Monday afternoon day off, the witness hiked alone to a remote glacial pond and bog. From the pond overlook around 1pm she noticed a figure wading at the far edge and took two photos, after which the figure turned to look at her. Feeling frightened she left, later checked the shoreline from another path and found no one, and on reviewing the images thought the figure looked inhuman.

She left because she was alone and unarmed, remaining skeptical because she never saw the head.

The witness and a companion sat around a campfire at night in a parking lot study area. From about 200 feet away they heard growl-whoop-scream vocalizations and wood-on-wood thumps, followed later by pea gravel striking the truck. Trail cameras reportedly captured gravel in motion and a large black partial figure showing shoulder, arm and open hand.

The witness was driving with a passenger toward a campsite in the evening when a small rock flew from the treeline and struck the hood near the windshield. The driver saw only the rock in flight, while the passenger reported seeing a large dark crouched figure at the treeline just before impact. Both occupants interpreted the rock as deliberately thrown and later photographed a small paint chip at the impact point.

The companion did not see it, and when they turned around and returned the shape was gone, but they found what they thought were two footprints nearby.

Two companions scouting a conservation area spotted a large dark bipedal figure about 150 to 200 yards away on a trail. The figure crouched, swayed, then moved quickly to the right and disappeared. The men went to the spot and found a very large fresh footprint and freshly broken small trees.

The witness was driving west on Highway 60 after crossing the Brazos River around 2:45 a.m. when a large dark shape on the roadside rose to a standing position and stepped or leapt into the darkness. The view lasted about two seconds at highway speed, revealing a very tall, thick bipedal figure that appeared dark with no discernible features. The witness, who said they had not previously believed in such beings, reported being shaken and convinced by what they saw.

Five high-pitched whistles came in immediate response from a brush patch, which the witness believed was not the moose. They observed large orange glowing eyes about eight feet off the ground behind an oak about 75 yards away for two to three minutes. When the witness shouted, the creature ran off showing its full side profile, and the family was startled by its massive size, massive arms and speed.

The owner noticed the figure later while reviewing images and described it as clear and appearing younger, with family members also seeing only the photo. A family of four driving through Geneva State Park in daylight stopped after noticing a large dark bipedal figure moving through snowy woods. The figure was watched briefly for about ten seconds before disappearing. Shortly after from a nearby parking lot the adults made whoop calls and heard replies described as whoops, a scream or growl, and wood knocks, while also noticing a strong unpleasant odor.

While driving on a road that follows a river on a hot day, the witness noticed a large cinnamon-colored animal standing on all fours in the shallow water at a distance. He could not see its head because of distance and overhanging branches. He first thought it was a bear but noted the fur looked unusually long and shaggy, obscuring where legs met body. He did not stop for a closer look and judged it at least as large as local bears he had seen.

The witness was night fishing from a dock when an otter nearby suddenly fled. The witness then saw a large grey shape move quickly and silently between cover, followed by a large splash near the dock. Frightened, the witness left immediately and found large four-toed footprints on a return visit the next day.
