The witness was sleeping lightly in a tent on family property during a reunion camping trip after several nights of growls, whoops, and sounds of movement in the woods. About 1:46am something pressed the back of the tent against her back, grabbed her left arm through the fabric, and shook the tall air mattress violently while a bright white light shone on the tent. The shaking and light stopped, and she found the tent had been pushed 5 to 7 feet forward. She stayed awake, left the next morning, and later found fingerprint-like marks on her arm that were photographed.

The witness was lying awake in a tent at a restricted lakeside camp around midnight when she heard slow, rhythmic footsteps circling the campsite for about 45 minutes. The walker paused near food areas, approached another tent when a child cried, and left after a car alarm sounded, stepping over a fence into the woods. She never opened the tent to look and concluded from the stride and sounds that it was not human.

An hour later distant howls woke them again, with further responses heard after the witness howled back, and footsteps were later heard near the tent. Next morning a single large deep footprint was found near the tent and photographed.

She photographed the rock outcropping where the sounds seemed to originate. Later after charging her phone at the cabin, she examined the photo and perceived a figure standing behind a tree looking toward her.

On opening day of elk season the witness camped alone on a remote spur road after hunting all day. After dark he struck a tree with a limb, then heard a large tree pushed over upslope, primate-like yells and chatter from both upslope and the ravine below, and heavy footsteps. Unnerved by the sense of being surrounded, he packed up and drove out without seeing anything.

In daylight they found young trees broken off several feet above the ground near the camp and along the road, which they photographed. They first thought a bear was responsible but came to believe the visits were by a sasquatch.

He then found large human-like footprints in snow, with two larger sets and one smaller set, showing a long stride and signs of running. He and two deputies photographed the tracks and interpreted the trail as individuals scouting, pausing, and circling before leaving, then withdrew from the area.

The larger prints were measured at 13 to 14 inches long with strides over five feet, while smaller prints were interpreted as a juvenile. Photos and measurements were taken before melt and wind degraded the tracks.

The witness was lying in bed in an off-grid camper when surrounding animal sounds went silent. Over about an hour the witness heard a single knock, shed creaking as if pushed, rustling and footsteps on gravel, a possible growl and chewing, and a single whoop with no reply. Two hikers arrived at a trailhead in the early morning to climb and heard knocks from uphill and downhill, followed by stick-breaking sounds like footsteps. They knocked back and received responses, filmed the exchange, then heard further knocks and repetitive rock-on-tree tapping as they started up the trail. They saw nothing in the dense woods and eventually left.

After knocking three times on a deck rail, the witness heard three knocks returned from nearby woods and later saw branches moving despite no wind. About an hour later the witness heard footsteps and pacing beside the house for about 15 minutes and attempted to record the sound on a phone.

During the night and again after dawn they repeatedly heard a loud aggressive exhale-like sound nearby, along with footsteps and branches breaking as something moved through the forest, followed by scream-like sounds that turned into chatter. In daylight they found a matted vegetation bed, a fresh flattened trail, and footprints in mud where the sounds had come from. The entity itself was never seen.

After the witness returned to the road, both heard repeated very loud cracking snaps from a wooded hilltop about 100 yards away, spaced about 30 seconds apart, along with movement and bark-ripping sounds. The witness walked partway up the hill filming with a cell phone and captured at least one loud crack before returning to the truck and leaving.

The witness backpacked solo to a remote campsite and spent the night in a hammock. Throughout the night he heard knocks, screams, howls, voices, footsteps, rocks and twigs landing nearby, and felt his tarp, hammock lines and gear being touched. He also noted a bent-tree structure near camp the prior evening and disturbed logs and tree piles in the morning, but reported seeing no creature.

The witness and two companions camped in the Mt Hood National Forest with a barrel of animal entrails intended as bait. Over three days they reported loud screams from a nearby ridge, nighttime wood knocks, heavy steps and snapping twigs, and found their camp table apparently bitten through. They moved the bait pile away from camp, later found most of it missing with a wet sweet dog-like odor at the site.

The witness stopped to rest while mountain biking and noticed a cluster of large barefoot-like footprints off the trail, which she photographed for scale. She reported hearing distant stomping or thumping sounds and later smelling a foul odor in the area. She did not see what made the prints and first thought the sounds were hogs or wild boar.

A couple watching movies in a barn heard prolonged loud splashing along a nearby lake shore that stopped when a flashlight was shone toward it and then resumed in a different spot. They felt uneasy and left for the night. The next morning the wife found a very large human-like footprint with partial prints on the shore and kept a broken cast of it.
