Possible daylight sighting of a Sasquatch on the Omaha Indian Reservation
The witness was day-hiking with companions on a reservation trail when a companion noted movement in the woods. In a clearer area the witness saw a light-brown arm-like shape swing down, while the companion reported seeing the upper body of a light-brown Sasquatch ducking behind cover. The witness photographed the spot and later revisited it to estimate height from a marker stick.
Couple hear repeated vocalizations while canoeing on a lake near Lacy
The witness and spouse were kayaking on a lake when they heard a very loud, mournful, human-like yell that echoed so direction could not be determined. They returned to their rented cabin, where the witness made phone video recordings that captured the sound again. No visual contact was reported.
Young man staying up late hears and records possible vocalizations near Rainier
The witness was at home in Rainier, Washington, playing video games when unknown loud calls, cries and hoots were heard on several nights in early February 2011. Some sounds were recorded on a cell phone and a webcam left running overnight and later posted online, with relatives also hearing them. The witness described one close cry and later hoots suggesting two individuals calling to each other. An investigator later had the audio compared to suspected vocalizations and visited the surrounding woods.
