While deer hunting, two companions found a single set of oversized tracks that were longer and wider than a size 9.5 tennis shoe, with about a six-foot stride. They observed the prints heading northwest through pine forest near a swamp. The witness returned four days later to photograph the prints and said they were unsure whether the tracks were Bigfoot-related.

While kneeling with the dog close by, the witness smelled a strong putrid odor, stood up, and saw a large dark hairy creature standing in a fern patch about 200 feet away. They made eye contact, the creature turned its head and torso showing long arm hair, then walked quickly away. The witness left the area and told no one for a couple days.
