Homestead explorer has possible daytime sighting, near Dexter
Two people cut through storm-fallen trees into an old logging unit to look for an old homestead. From a small rise one of them spotted a huge person-like outline across the drainage about 200 yards away. The figure sidestepped, stared toward them for one to two minutes, then disappeared after they briefly looked away.
Still hairy figure seen in a field by a motorist near Springfield
The witness was driving on High Banks Road toward the highway in late morning and slowed to look at an object in a pasture to the right of the road. The witness described a large dark long-haired animal-like object standing motionless in the open field about 70 yards from the road. No photo was taken because of a following car and a doctor's appointment, and no limbs, head, or movement were discerned during the 20 to 25 second observation.
Possible vocalizations heard while visiting McKenzie River Valley
Late at night at a yurt near a creek, the witness stepped outside and heard loud hooting/howling from across the creek. The sound was heard two more times from inside the yurt, and later the witness saw a faint outline duck behind trees on the hillside. The next morning a partial muddy footprint with hairs was found leading toward the yurt door.
Videocamera Accidently Captures Distant Bipedal Movement near Smith River Road
Two people were driving along a country road while videotaping the route. A figure came from behind a tree at a distance described as about two football fields and ran into the woods, appearing very briefly in the footage. The witnesses did not stop at the time and only noted the figure when reviewing the video, which they report still having.
