After hearing a distant splash and nearby snapping limbs, the witness saw a massive ape-like animal running away while grunting. The animal disappeared into the swamp, leaving a strong musk smell. The witness left, unsure what had been seen.

As the witness passed the spot, a large hairy bipedal creature was standing by the median about 10-15 feet away and took two long steps down the embankment into the median during an encounter lasting about 10 seconds.
