He saw a solid black biped about four to five feet tall moving along the roadside, which then sprinted between his car and an oncoming vehicle. The figure lost its footing at the road edge, steadied itself with its arms, and disappeared into the woods within seconds. The companion did not see it.

A very tall upright creature covered in reddish-brown fur stepped from roadside bushes and crossed the highway in front of their car. It paused near the center line to look toward the headlights, then continued into the woods on the far side.

When headlights were turned on they saw a large dark hairy figure with a cone-shaped head and green eyes that moved its head and made grunting sounds. After difficulty starting the car, they heard a loud prolonged roar and saw the figure still there as they drove away.

The witness stared at a bush across the water and then discerned a large dark face watching from between branches, with very large hands also visible. After a short time the witness became terrified, grabbed the relative and fled screaming, followed by the others. Only the witness reported seeing the face.

Three teenagers stopped at night on a dirt road near a one-lane bridge to relieve themselves. They heard repeated grunting and growling from an oak tree with a thrashing limb, then watched a large hairy biped drop into a ditch and run through the car's high-beam illumination. It leapt off the bridge bank out of sight while its footsteps were heard continuing south, after which the group fled in the car.

After a relative fired a gun into the air, the entity stood, ran bipedally toward nearby woods and a river, and large human-like footprints were found in the garden the next morning.

The witness then saw a white, hairy, slightly hunched figure standing and peeking around the corner of a duplex, with the top of its head level with the top of a window estimated at over seven feet. The figure moved slightly side to side before the witness backed away, and it was gone when checked shortly after, with no trace found the next morning.
