The witness was deer hunting in the morning and waiting against a tree when a nearby deer spooked. He then heard heavy breathing and saw a tall hair-covered upright creature standing a few feet behind him. He fled leaving his gun, then returned with two companions to find large three-toed tracks leading to a creek.

Very large three-toed footprints found in leaves by tree and later in creek sand with slide mark down bank, followed about 75 yards
Measurements: about 14" long and about 4-5" wide, 3 toes
