The witness was sitting in a deer stand above a creek in heavily wooded bottomland waiting for deer. After smelling a musky odor and hearing leaves rustling behind the stand, the witness turned and saw a large dark-brown hairy biped across the creek about 60 yards away walking parallel to the water. The creature briefly turned its head toward the witness, continued swiftly with its arms swinging, and stayed in view for 10 to 15 seconds before moving away through trees.

The witness reported hearing noises around the home weekly for months and then seeing a white, roughly 8.5- to 9-foot-tall creature about 40-50 feet away across the street near the forest at about 530am in the dark while using a strong flashlight. The witness had parked his truck on a ridge road before dawn to deer hunt. After hearing coyotes, he got back in the truck and then saw a tall hair-covered human-like figure emerge from the woods beside the truck. The witness stayed in the truck until daylight, then found skid marks where it descended but no footprints.

The witness was driving with family at night after leaving a resort when a deer ran across the road. Immediately afterward a large upright creature ran along the roadside beside the van, apparently chasing the deer, and looked toward the vehicle before dropping back and disappearing out of the headlights. The witness turned around to recheck but saw nothing. A son in the back seat also saw the creature.

The witness said he went outside at night with a flashlight and a handgun after suspecting someone was stealing gas from his truck. About 20 yards away he noticed an unusual bush-like shape that stood up to about 8 feet tall, showing a pale ring around its face and reddish-brown body hair, with red eye reflection. An investigator hiked with two companions to the top of a rocky ridge at night to look into recurring activity. While the companions scanned with night vision and a camcorder, the investigator illuminated a sasquatch-like figure standing close below the rocks with a headlamp and watched it withdraw and walk away. The companions recorded eyeshine in the opposite direction, suggesting a second animal, and the group heard footsteps following them as they descended. They later reviewed the tape and confirmed eyeshine had been recorded.

A deer hunter in scent-masking clothes and a ghillie suit was set up on a rock overlooking a saddle at daybreak. A large dark ape-like animal threw a stick that landed behind him, then charged after he shouted and pointed his muzzleloader. He fired in front of it to deter it; it stopped, stood, grunted, and a smaller one emerged crying before both left. He abandoned his gear and found it ransacked the next day.

In July 2006 around 4:30 a.m., the witness was riding a motorcycle to work when they noticed a large hairy creature squatting beside the road near a sawmill. They passed within about four feet and looked at its face and eyes for a few seconds before continuing, too shaken to stop.
