The witness and his youngest son were hunting with family and heard noises they thought were elk. While investigating on foot, they noticed a dark trunk-like shape in the bushes about 25 yards away that appeared to have eyes that moved. The son locked the vehicle door and urged immediate departure. The witness remains mostly but not fully convinced the shape was not a tree.

After the witness brightened the headlights, the creature approached, struck the car and leaned on the hood while screaming loudly. A woman driving home with her children at dusk saw a brown figure crouched on the highway median outside Gladstone. The figure stood up, crossed the highway in a couple of steps, lowered its arms to its sides, and disappeared into the woods. She described it as extremely fast and graceful and concluded it could only have been a Bigfoot.

A couple driving at night with their child came upon a tall dark-haired figure walking in a gully alongside the highway. They passed it slowly and viewed it peripherally for about ten seconds, noting its height above the van and its large jawed face. They continued driving and later stopped to recover and discuss what they had seen.

The witness was driving with family at night when, after an oncoming vehicle passed, a large hairy creature was seen standing in the road. It crossed in a southbound direction, turned to look over its shoulder, then took two large steps over a guardrail and disappeared. The witness was walking with a friend out of tall grass into a field in the late afternoon when a tall, slim, white-furred creature was noticed about 100 feet away in the woods. After daybreak, after several deer ran past appearing spooked, a tall bipedal hair-covered creature ran past the stand without stopping. The witness was deer hunting from an old logging road overlooking a cleared area when a tall bipedal figure emerged from the treeline across a draw. At first mistaking it for a very large man on a road, he realized it was far taller than a human with long strides and brown coloration. The figure appeared to turn toward him, then returned into the treeline. He later crossed to the spot and found no road, only uneven ground and a steep draw beyond.

Two geologists were sampling exposed rock near a creek after morning hunting gunfire had stopped. The witness heard rustling, turned, and saw a reddish-brown hair-covered entity hanging by long arms from a low branch over a bridge about 200 to 300 feet away. After about 10 to 15 seconds it dropped behind the bridge out of view and was not seen again. The companion saw nothing, no traces were searched for or found, and the witness remained unsure the sighting was genuine.

The witness was riding in a car with two relatives driving back over a mountain pass late at night. They encountered a tall, dark, hairy figure walking on and across the road. After a companion shouted at it from the car, the figure kept walking without changing pace and left the road up into the mountains.

Two tractor-trailer drivers claim they saw a bulky brown-haired creature while driving westbound over a bridge in the afternoon. The creature was on dry rocky ground beside shallow water below the bridge, described as walking like a person. The witnesses described long groomed hair over the whole body, unusually long arms, and massive feet and ankles during the brief high-speed pass.

Early one morning the witness was driving east on Highway 67 after stopping to pick up a newspaper. In the headlights a large black biped ran from the north side of the road across in front of the vehicle and up an incline to the south. The witness described it moving very fast on two legs and glancing back over a hunched shoulder while maintaining eye contact. The witness stated it did not look like a known four-legged animal and was left frightened.

The witness was driving on Hwy11 at night in September 1997. A dark brown or black creature estimated at about 7 feet tall crossed the road and went into the bush. The witness did not stop because it was dark.

The witness then saw a very tall white human-like form running through that yard with its head turned toward them. Late at night the witness and a companion were driving north when they noticed a very large, dark, tall figure standing motionless on the side of the road facing east. The outline stood out in the darkness and its eyes reflected a white/silvery light. Both occupants were shocked and spoke little about it afterward.

The witness reported finding unusually large tracks estimated at 20 inches near a campsite. That night the group heard loud piercing screams in the forest and smelled a strange skunk- and sweat-like odor, and the witness sounded a personal alarm which seemed to drive something away. The next morning they found more tracks near the campsite along with some broken branches.

The witness and a companion were on an early morning hike from a forest camp when they noticed a tall dark shape on a distant rock outcropping. After an accidental gunshot the shape was no longer on the rocks and was then seen walking away very fast with swinging arms. The two returned to camp and said little at the time.
