On a snowy night in winter 1982, the witness was walking home from work along a roadway when they noticed a dark, hair-covered figure in a nearby ravine. The figure, estimated at about five feet tall, appeared to be playing in the snow, scooping and throwing it over its head and rolling around. The witness watched from about 30-35 yards away while continuing to walk until out of sight, then ran away in fear.

The witness was deer hunting in the morning near Milton, Florida, overlooking a cleared powerline area. From about 100 yards away, the witness saw a large reddish-brown animal running bipedally across the clearing at high speed. The witness then left the area and did not return.

The figure stayed motionless and silent while the witness watched its bulk, stooped posture, one clenched hand, and eyes. Two days after a distant sighting, the witness and companions were walking back toward the cabin across a field on a sunny day. About 50 yards away they saw a creature sitting on an old tree stump just inside the woods watching them. The witness said it turned by moving its whole upper torso as if it had no neck, then looked back before the group fled.

The witness and cousins were riding horses home through a brushy trail in the evening when their horses became agitated. A very tall, very hairy bipedal figure ran beside them, crossed the trail about 40 feet ahead, paused at the brush edge to stare, then disappeared into trees. The witness was deer hunting on a mountain ridge in the morning when separated from companions. He heard brush crashing and saw a very large black hairy biped moving downhill through tall oak brush toward a trail and into the forest, smelling a strong musky odor. He watched it through his rifle scope but did not shoot, then left by a road while hearing movement alongside and firing once to scare it.

Near the bridge at Fairmount Road, the witness saw a reddish-brown figure digging at the ground beside the bridge. They saw a dark, hairy figure bent over in the stream that stood upright, turned toward them, and then ran silently north along the stream on two legs. The group fled, returned later with older kids to search, and found no tracks except additional turned-over rocks.

Two young family members went to the barn after dark to check animals and one touched fur in the dark and then saw a tall furry biped with red eyes. The creature followed as they left the barn without harming them. An older relative then confronted it with a shotgun, fired in the air, and it ran into the woods making a noise.

The figure paused by a fence to look toward the witness, then lifted a smaller hair-covered figure from the weeds onto its hip. It then stepped over a barbed-wire fence and walked unhurried into the woods.

The witness was driving on a dirt road near Prescott at dusk when a large ape-like animal appeared moving parallel to the road just inside the tree line. The witness braked to a stop and watched it walk through a gap in the trees about 100 meters away for about 10 seconds before it disappeared into the forest. The animal was described as tall, very muscular and reddish-brown with longer arm hair and little or no neck, and it never looked toward the car.
