Minutes later they heard another crunch and glimpsed the same figure heading toward thicker brush near a creek bottom, shortly after which two does hurried past as if fleeing.

They left at first light and were later towed back to the landing.

A large wet adult creature and a smaller juvenile were then seen at close range crossing the road, throwing material at the car, before disappearing into the forest.

The witness claims that while hog hunting near a roadside ditch, he saw a large brown bipedal creature crouching by the road. The creature reportedly stood, walked back and forth across the road, then crouched again before walking away on two legs toward a swamp.
