The witness was outside in the driveway on a cell phone call around midnight when they noticed two dark figures moving across a moonlit field. The larger figure, estimated at 7-8 feet tall, watched the witness while walking with an apelike gait and swinging arms, accompanied by a smaller 4-5 foot figure that appeared to forage. After crouching in tall grass, both figures moved toward trees and darkness to the southwest, and a rock or object struck a nearby shed as the witness went inside.

He estimated the figure at 8 to 9 feet tall and about 400 pounds, but could not discern facial details in the two-second glimpse.

The witness was driving northbound on a highway at night with a companion when the companion noticed a large hair-covered figure standing up from a crouch beside the road. The witness looked over and saw the figure standing very close to the vehicle for about three seconds as they passed. The witness stopped at the entry point, later circled via side roads to the school parking lot to look into the woods, but did not see it again.
