Hiker has daylight sighting near Olive Branch
The witness reported walking back along a trail after making calls with no response when he found a very large footprint and a scat pile containing vegetation and shell fragments. Moments later he saw a very tall, heavily built, dark brownish creature about 70-80 feet away that had been digging at a ground hornet nest. The creature then ran rapidly down one ridge and up another at a speed the witness felt could not be matched, and disappeared. The witness then collected his things and left for his car.
Exec on business trip has sighting from balcony of hotel near Huntsville
From a sixth-floor hotel balcony before dawn, the witness watched a tall hair-covered biped for five to six minutes at a distance. The being stared, rocked side to side, and repeatedly leaned to pull bark from a large pine tree. Afterward the witness fetched security and later returned in daylight to find fresh bark, deep ground indentations, and possible scat.
Tracks and feces found in freshly turned field
While preparing a field for planting, workers found large five-toed tracks and two very large cylindrical feces in a freshly plowed field. The tracks led from a grassy area onto a dirt road, into the field where the maker appeared to squat, dig up and eat turtle eggs, then continued into bordering woods. The reporter photographed the sign with a yardstick, made left and right foot casts, and collected fecal and eggshell samples for examination.
Couple has fleeting, afternoon encounter near Barlow Pass
A couple on vacation stopped at a clearing near a deserted campground to look around. They found unusually large droppings, noticed the woods had gone quiet, and felt watched before leaving. Afterward the companion said she had briefly seen a reddish-brown bipedal figure across the meadow retreating into the forest.
Several tracks found by hunter near Lewiston Lake
While deer hunting, the witness found many large tracks and followed them to a hidden hillside spring in a dry area. The water was murky as if recently disturbed, and the witness also found dung with an unusual sweet smell that was collected for testing. No creature was seen, but the witness believed he had just missed it.

The witness was fishing downstream from family members when he briefly saw the lower legs of a dark figure stepping from the creek onto the bank and into dense brush. He searched the spot and found wet marks on rocks, disturbed soil, and dung, which companions helped videotape. He concluded the figure was unlikely to be human given the remote, rugged terrain.
Large furry head about 12" by 18" looked in the back door.
On a warm dark night in late summer 1993, five people inside a relative's house saw a large furry head peer through the back-door window for a few seconds before disappearing. After going outside, the witness stepped in a large pile of fresh scat and noticed a strong unpleasant odor. Nothing else was seen or heard that night.

The witness was walking along a creek-side sandy path looking for animal tracks and entered a small meadow. Feeling as if watched, the witness turned and saw a large brown bipedal creature squatted on the path. The creature stood, moved quickly and silently up a brushy embankment and disappeared. The witness then found a single dark stool on the path where the creature had been.

In the early afternoon the witness was about to enter brush ringing a stream inlet when a very tall, hair-covered human-like figure came within about 20 feet at a slow walk. The witness described its size, hair, facial features and muscular build, noting it was defensive but not threatening and made no sound. The witness withdrew to a truck without being followed, and also noted a very large track, sand mounds, possible vomit and scat, and bark damage in the same area.
Man and his children find large barefoot tracks in snow
The witness took his children sledding along a forest service road, towing a sled behind his truck. After noticing droppings in the road, they found a trail of large bare human-like footprints with five toes leading up a bank. The witness compared his booted foot and stride to the prints, noting a much longer step and deeper impressions, then left because it was getting late and later reported the find to the sheriff's office.
