Around 2 a.m. the witness was driving home and came around the dog-leg of a dead-end road. Headlights illuminated a large hairy biped crossing the road from right to left toward woods by a stable in front of the family home. The witness braked and watched it cross in a few steps, then drove up the dirt lane without seeing it again. The follow-up summary dates the road crossing to 1998.

The witness was driving north on a highway in the early morning when a large upright creature crossed the road ahead. The witness slowed while passing as the creature stood in a ditch facing away from the road. The encounter lasted about 15 seconds and was lit only by the car headlights.

It had apparently been squatting in the road, then moved quickly across on all fours while starting to straighten toward two legs before leaving the light. Both witnesses felt it was not a bear, cat, or other known animal due to its color, narrow torso, and human-like body shape.

A woman driving home with her children at dusk saw a brown figure crouched on the highway median outside Gladstone. The figure stood up, crossed the highway in a couple of steps, lowered its arms to its sides, and disappeared into the woods. She described it as extremely fast and graceful and concluded it could only have been a Bigfoot.

The witness was driving with family at night when, after an oncoming vehicle passed, a large hairy creature was seen standing in the road. It crossed in a southbound direction, turned to look over its shoulder, then took two large steps over a guardrail and disappeared. Early one morning the witness was driving east on Highway 67 after stopping to pick up a newspaper. In the headlights a large black biped ran from the north side of the road across in front of the vehicle and up an incline to the south. The witness described it moving very fast on two legs and glancing back over a hunched shoulder while maintaining eye contact. The witness stated it did not look like a known four-legged animal and was left frightened.

The witness was driving on Hwy11 at night in September 1997. A dark brown or black creature estimated at about 7 feet tall crossed the road and went into the bush. The witness did not stop because it was dark.

The figure walked upright with wide strides, moving from dense forest on one side to an overgrown old logging road on the other without looking toward the car. The witness slowed at a pullout, noted the location relative to a curve warning sign, and later measured the spot as one mile north of a highway turnoff.
