After the boar fled, an upright figure appeared at the tree line, stood over the boar's spot, and was then illuminated by high beams. Both witnesses felt it was not a bear, cat, or other known animal due to its color, narrow torso, and human-like body shape.

She watched it through binoculars for about 15 minutes, seeing yellow eyes looking back, before leaving for camp without telling her husband why.
