While resting near a rock face, the witness heard the dog bark, looked back, and saw a tall black figure running down the hill. The witness followed the sound of it crashing through brush to a clearing below, where the noise stopped.

A couple having a picnic hiked a short distance into the woods with their dog when they heard loud howling noises that seemed to move parallel to them. They then watched a nearly 8-foot-tall dark figure looking at them for about 10 seconds before it walked upright away deeper into the woods. After returning to their picnic area they heard very loud vocalizations again nearby, believed it had followed them, and ran for their vehicle.

Early one summer morning the witness looked out a home window before work and noticed a very large black figure moving through crab-apple trees and brush behind the house. A second, smaller black figure then moved through the same area, shaking vegetation as it ran. The larger figure stopped in thick brush and stared toward the witness at the window for less than a minute before looking toward the dog kennel and walking uphill out of sight. Fruit the witness had discarded in the yard the night before was gone the next day.

The witness was driving east on Route 80 in daylight and pulled over on a bridge over a river ravine. He watched two large black upright forms emerge from trees on one bank, wade across the river, and disappear into trees on the other bank. The figure was described as muscular yet slender with long arms and dark to reddish-brown hair. The forest had gone quiet beforehand, the witness was stunned and unable to speak, then left the area.

Around 9:30 p.m. on a rainy night the witness heard miniature horses making noise in the yard and turned on a porch floodlight to look. From about 40 to 50 feet away in pines the witness saw a tall upright figure that looked toward the porch. The figure then turned and walked behind an outbuilding out of the light during a brief 2- to 3-second view.

The witness was sitting on the porch at night when the dogs reacted to a heavy stepping sound nearby. After getting her husband, the couple watched a grayish hair-covered biped about 5 feet tall leap onto and off a refrigerator on a trailer, knocking the trailer off its blocks. The animal then fled on two legs in a stooped posture toward the road while the husband fired a pistol into the ground.

Late at night the witness was driving north toward Atlanta when he saw a very large dark-brown hairy creature step easily over a barbed-wire fence beside an S-curve. The creature turned its head toward the witness but did not run, continuing to walk along the fence line while the witness braked and then drove on, frightened.
