A group of about ten young campers spent Memorial weekend at a secluded forest clearing. After earlier strange sounds and a brief sighting, one camper encountered a tall bipedal figure near the camp bathroom area and alerted the group. Several campers armed themselves, moved children into a vehicle, fired warning shots, and pursued the figure toward a nearby friends camp where they reported being circled by three tall dark-furred bipeds. The following mornings the group reported handprints on vehicles, footprints, nests, and broken-tree crosses and teepee structures around both camps.

The witness was walking a dog in daylight near woods when a dark brown creature stood up from behind a tractor-trailer. The creature was described as over six feet tall and slender with a cone-shaped head, no neck, broad shoulders, long arms and hairy hands and legs, with no odor or sound noticed. Footprints and a bedding area were reportedly found nearby in the following days.

The witness and two daughters were driving a pickup on a forest two-track in the evening to gather rocks for a fire pit. A tall black-haired biped ran across the trail in front of the vehicle in a forward-leaning run with arms hanging low, followed about 15 feet behind by a large gray wolf. Both continued up the hill on the far side and disappeared, and a next-day search found no tracks because of overnight heavy rain.

The witness was walking along a rural road past a marsh at dawn when noises like birds rustling came from the reeds. A light-brown creature that had been crouched in the reeds stood up and ran uphill toward the woods, pushing brush aside with its arms. The witness observed it for less than a minute, noting great height, broad shoulders, a coconut-shaped head, and very fast movement.

The witness was set up alone for an evening hunt at the head of a draw accessed by ATV. At about 200 yards he saw two tall dark figures walking side by side up the trail toward him. After about 20 seconds the figures turned off the trail into timber, showing very long arms, and disappeared. The witness waited then rode back toward camp.

She looked up and watched a tall, dark-haired figure step out of the trees, walk five long steps to the side while looking down, and step back into the forest. She called a relative to return home, and a later visit to the spot found trampled vegetation, stacked broken limbs, and a strong odor.

The witness was deer hunting alone on a mountainside when he noticed odd upside-down branch structures. He then saw a tall dark bipedal figure about 60 yards away watching him from a tree grove edge. An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.
