She described the creature as much larger than an adult man, with short brownish-red hair, a large head and very long massive arms, without seeing its face.

The witness was deer hunting alone on a mountainside when he noticed odd upside-down branch structures. He then saw a tall dark bipedal figure about 60 yards away watching him from a tree grove edge. Afterward she noticed a strong rotten-egg/sulphur odor in her car that lasted about 10 minutes.

The witness and four companions were pausing in a hay field during a target-practice outing when the witness spotted a large dark figure rising from a blackberry patch. The figure walked across a trail, paused by a fir tree and looked toward the group, then continued into an adjacent field. The group went to the spot, found flattened brush and a bent-grass trail, estimated the figure's height against the tree, took photos, and then heard knocking beats and hooting sounds after birds flushed and dogs barked in the distance.

The witness was driving on a wooded back road in Ocala in the early afternoon when an animal emerged from the woods and crossed the road. It initially moved on all fours, then stood and walked bipedally across the pavement before pausing at the tree line to look at the witness. The witness described a large dark-brown shaggy animal about 7 feet tall with primate-like arms and hands and no bear-like ears or muzzle, which then disappeared into the woods.
